Those endings wont change rest of 95% of the game, for NTR haters that still would be too much. And why it is always adding vanilla to NTR and never adding NTR to vanilla, when will Summertime Saga or other popular titles will get NTR added in? I would never play vanilla game, i find them too bland and boring, and making just like %5 of optional (avoidable) content as NTR wont cut it for me. Why are some people so obsessed with making everything for everyone? I dont want to ruin fun of vanilla players by adding NTR to their beloved titles, why they want vanilla in NTR so much? Just go play vanilla game. APBLU is an NTR game and HC is creating NTR novels as stated in his profile on Patreon.

Actually no, there are some instances like in Milf Plaza where they added avoidable NTR in vanilla in their last update which was the opposite of what happened here and few devoted vanilla people got mad about it and caused a ruckus just like some people getting mad about vanilla route getting added here. And also it's obvious why people make game for both the crowd. To pull more people into the game.
To both genre enjoyers, I'd say just play the route you like instead of voicing concerns about other group's preferences. Those routes aren't connected and they're not forcing you to play the route you don't like. It's avoidable. Your enjoyment shouldn't depend on other person's preference.

So I prefer stories where characters starts with L and goes on to get Ws by the end. When it comes to games, ntr games also give this option/route. That's why I follow it.
How can i see the last scenes with Laura's perspective for the abrupt ending? For some reason i cound't see them in the history.

So far (if i got leaks right) there are no vanilla routes here, every route is NTR its just like 1 of new endings (harem) can be considered vanilla. Rest are still NTR its just that Laura got fucked by Aya too now who basically "stole" our protag from her so its a "happy" but still NTR endings i guess. APBLU is still a fully NTR game and i don't think that would change, unless HC decides to fuck with his NTR fans, and who knows, he might, but i hope he wont.
Pulling more people into niche game\genre is not a good thing if result would be drastic changes that will alienate original folks. NTR game should remain as an NTR game, enjoy them as they are, why ask for more vanilla options? Same goes for vanilla games.
Do you think if we add guro\scat\bestiality\rape\NTR options to somethink like Nekopara folks would be ok with it, its just avoidable right? Playing the game is avoidable too. If i like X i would rather play a game where X is the main theme instead where its just an optional part, especially if Z is present and i just cant stand Z.

I don't know why would you want to catch Ls in vanilla game. If you mean that in vanilla games you basically can't fail because the authors are afraid of being branded as ntr so the girls are for MC exclusive use - you have my sympathy. But still those two don't mix and you won't be able to convince their fans to accept the other.
I'm of opinion that you shouldn't mix those two. First it will not really attract supporters from the other crowd and your primary audience won't like it that money is spent developing content they don't like. Second when you try to appeal to multiple kinks especially opposite ones the result is subpar to a game/story that aims to deliver best in that one singular kink. Three even if the content is optional it still "spoils" the character, we not only judge characters by what they did but also what they are capable of doing.
I don't know what a Nekopara is. For me personally Guro/scat is awful and I won't ever even search for it. That said, if it's an avoidable feature that I won't be forced to see then I don't mind playing it.
I do agree with you that we have different views that won't match and we'll only keep going back and forth. So it's better to stop here.
Let the dev do whatever he thinks will be better for him financially or otherwise.
I know that in Vanillas, MC don't get Ls and I'm not saying vanilla should have that. I merely stated my opinion that MC getting Ls and getting Ws by the end is a troupe that happens mostly in such games which is why I follow it.
Judging characters on what they're capable of doing in other routes might be a problem for some but not for others. People have different tastes. Personally imo it shouldn't be a problem. But if you have issues with that then I won't be forcing you to change your preference. Again, different strokes for different people.
Like I replied to the other guy here, let HC see how this worked out for him and do what he thinks is best for his game.

That new update is so good. I just did the extra normal ending with Aya and I started laughing like a mad man. Aya is the coolest. She really has Harry's back.

The recent relevant posts in the thread seem to be 'I like vanilla in APBLU' vs 'don't put vanilla in APBLU'.
Let's imagine that Harry had nothing to do with Laura, save him crushing on her. Aya didn't really pay much attention to him either. The story goes on with inner monologs about how much he pines for Laura, how well shaped Aya's butt and her grander-than-average (the joke is so good) perfectly fine as is boobs are, then later he sees Luca, his old bully, gropping Laura's tits in the office. Harry could have a inner conflict within his own thoughts about if Laura wanted Luca to touch her boobs. Luca could very firmly grab Aya's butt, sparking another similar thought. Harry may draw a conclusion that Luca is two-timing, diminishing Luca's character to a common fuck-boy, normalfags explode and all that. Many other inner monologs, a report to management found baseless, and some lonely man faps later, the credits roll. May as well be a harem VN with a MC named Luca, where the background characters cast shade on him for pumping his girlfriends', Larua and Aya, vaginas full of semen. Just like any other harem VN's public sex scenes.
Let's get this into perspective. This is all in Harry's mind, near pointless and ineffective story telling. Nothing gained, nothing to lose, no heights to drop from, just comic levels of no way out scenarios, just bland, no spice, nothing. People typically don't do that, Harry would simply crush on someone else, maybe even start a relationship with them, like he did with Laura in cannon APBLU. Two years into that pure vanilla relationship is the start point of the contention.
Which brings me to my next point. These new endings will make Aya's character bloom, just like Laura does with her conflict with Luca. Aya like's Harry alot, alot, very much so alot, enough to where a touch from him will light her on fire.
It only makes sense she would get in the way of Laura developing fetishes... I mean... conflicted relationship with Harry, if Harry gives her even a slight hint of attention. That's all that's needed for Aya to make her move on Harry, as is in her character. Especially after she finds out Laura is cheating on Harry, with Luca. She has told us as much. If she can get one room in the apartment building of Harry's heart, she'll take it. At least the last time I read it.
I had thought that the new endings would help with little to no player agency later in the routes, but it seems it's the older choices to tease out Aya's interest in Harry, changing the ending. It's still fine, Aya gets sorely needed character development. Maybe it was mentioned, but I wonder how the events of 9.3 will wrap up. Aya's actions are contradictory to what she set out to get. She's mostly working on getting her oral and vaginal (next maybe anal) cavities comfortable with being Luca's ideal cocksleeve, to somehow get Harry. Then Harry becomes a complete asshole to Aya, from what I can see, practically fully out of character. Looking forward to how that works out in the next update.
