The developer actually confirmed that's Myrl is going to return (just to be clear: Myrl will appear in the next work as a side character as the game takes place in a near time of "Rift in the Crypt" but it was clearly stated by the developer that she'll be back in a future game and will consistently be aiming for Hayato) speaking of their next work, the release date has been announced:

Really cant wait for the dev's new game!! I heard that it has 22 playable days and is likely 3 times bigger than this one

Am I the only one who doesn't understand Sadi's actions in the game? At least when it's come to Hayato and Myrl relationship, I mean at very beginning of the story he firmly told Myrl not to get engrossed with Hayato so much since she belong to him yet there's 2 endings that demolishes this statement completely, the first one when both Hayato and Celia completely fall and in Myrl epilogue she literally left the demon king army and lived with Hayato as lovely couple! In the second ending where Hayato falls first while Celia was oblivious to it when she tried attacking Myrl at the alter and Hayato cast protection on the Succubus Sadi looked so proud as if he's a father of the two and seems to be very supportive of their relationship, I dunno it's just feels weird not saying I'm not happy about it tho, I'd loathe an ending where Myrl just laughs at Hayato for being a naive boy who easily fell for her charms and just leave him with nothing but regret after Sadi got his hands on Celia.

Well Sadi is a Incubus so his thinking might not seem to be logical according u regular flock. And from the game stating it doesnt seem like he is short on women

Oh? So we're going with: "his mind is so complicated that you can't comprehend his way of thinking" argument? What's there not to understand exactly? He clearly said to Myrl not get attached to Hayato then in later events he seems completely fine with them being together, and who ever said anything about him being short on girls? That's not the point here, I don't think it's logical to throw something precious to you just because you have so many other precious thing in your possession, on top of that Myrl is not just some random girl he can just give on whim she's his right hand as stated and shown and she played a major role in his uprising.
Well this game has multiple ending doesn't it ? And it alot cases especially in India games and AGames with multiple ending it not uncommon to plotholes and plus this is the author's first work so try to cut him some slack. And I do remember Hayato being a soldier in one ending but I dont remember him being together with Myrl so if u could share the SS pls do

Why are you talking as if I was attacking the developer or trying to diss on his first work? all I did was wonder about a certain character's behavior which is pretty normal if you ask me, so if you want to assume the developer made a mistake that Sadi ended up contradicting himself that's not a bad argument, yes this is his first work and he might have different plans at first as not to make Hayato ends up with Myrl no matter what, but he changed it later on giving Hayato a "good ending" with the succubus.

It's some time since I played the game, but iirc for me it was he thought his plan worked out. He simply underestimated how attached she became. For him, it was she did her job and now has some more fun, while he is still her boss and number one person. In his arrogance, he simply underestimated how easy he could lose his favored position in her eyes and how much of an actual danger Hayato was for the affection his subordinate had for him.

There's also clues throughout the game that Meryl has a fetish for shy young boys (This is why she sticks around in a good ending, she obssesses over hayato as he literally is the posterboy of her strongest fetish and she just needs to have him even if she has to paly second fiddle to Celia) and we actively see that she is a powerful succubus in her own right. Celia has the blood of the hero/goddess? (I cant remember which) in her veins and this makes her an extremely valuable prize to Sadi. Not only does corrupting her deny Humanity a strong defender, but I guarantee as a succubus herself Celia likley greatly outstripes Meryl in power.
As such frankly I think in a corruption bad end, Sadi doesnt need meryl anymore as he has a new pwoerful servant who's gonna take her place at the top of the harem anyway, and Meryl got herself a new toy to play with so she cuts her losses and leaves with her new toy.

They thought at first she's the descendent of the goddess but it turns out that she's actually the hero's, the real descendent of the goddess is an unknown Heroine that'll probably appear in the third game.
