I'm on version 14.9.3.1 Sept. I try waiting 3-4 days after the first time I free her but I'm not given the option to talk to her in the parl.

I depends a bit on what you had done before, but generally if you free her then she is immediately move to the park, either the park pathway or the duck pond
Can you check in the cheat menu, select view people, locate Kate, what is listed for her Place and Other/Extra values

Please note the passage of time has no effect in these events so just passing days will not trigger anything here
Have you found the Dragon Vase yet, have you stolen it and got it opened? A lot of these events for Kate are delayed until after this happens as it is usually tied to her mother and such events.
I ask as the main reason you could get those values would be that either you have not got the vase, or you have not talked to Mrs Granger about it and then gone to the Mechanics Shop
I have triggered the event where Mrs Granger gets put in the hospital but I haven't done the rest of the story relating to the dragon gem so I'll try that. Thank You

I help her, get her address, visit her home, game over...
I'm downloading the game again, but my Internet sucks today... Maybe I could also try with Windows?
I appreciate your reply, it doesnt mention anything there however. Maybe a bug?

The save you posted is at the very start of a game, so there is nothing to see/check, Kate is set at start of game there
To save a full download try just the attached file. Download, unzip and copy into the
Javascripts
folder in your game. This is the compiled game javascript code and if there is a difference for your system and mine this is the only file that will matter.
PS
I just used your save and went through the game up to visiting Kate at home (offered to study with her, and did at the library). At her home I chatted with her mother and then with her. No problems. This was on the Apprentice path but the differences to this point for Apprentice/Murder/Conspiracy do not matter much

All of the sex scenes are real porn so you'd basically get error popups in every scene if you did that unless you replaced them all with other identically named images.
Update: While trying to test the walkthrough I went ahead and cleaned up the code, but it ended up causing the JavaScript code to stop registering as JavaScript, breaking the entire walkthrough. Fixing it was beyond my capability, so I had to start over. Then Friday night a storm caused a tree to fall, taking out the power and cable lines along with our mailbox, so I was unable to work on anything until last night.
I am almost finished with the Apprentice path, which just leaves testing the Murder and Conspiracy paths.
