This is discussed in the walkthrough, but you need to talk to someone expert in demons before trying to visit Elian, and you should have a magical defence, Gina's necklace, Pamela's bracelt, Alison's chant etc

The game has a walkthrough included that covers the entire game though it does give broad points later in the game. Please check in the phone in the game, Help (? icon), Walkthrough
Is there a way to remove all the initial images from the phone?
Sometimes when I delete images manually they show up again later how do I stop that?
How do I save videos to my phone? When I click on them it pops out the video instead of saving.

- No, the "clear" button will only delete the ones YOU put on there.
- Make sure they're not your wallpaper or stored in a text you've not deleted.
- Hunt for the little save button (with the mountains) it doesn't move, but it can be hard to see. If it's not there then you're shit outta luck.
When I click the mountain button it doesn't save it just pops the video out. Does that only work on certain browsers for videos?

As ed6mil noted you cannot remove the default images, only ones you took during game play or from sms messages.
Videos should work as long as you click only on the save button noted, but if it does not for you please let me know the browser you are using the the particular image you last tried

I followed the walkthrough and got to the point of seeing madison(charmed her when she dropped the stereo off) in the TV station and it says I should have my first encounter with gabby, it just doesn't happen though and sends me to the charmed madison. Am I missing something? none of the moms events fired either in my first playthrough (I went 41 days with no mom/gabby events and restarted to try and get them)

The first Gabby meeting should happen when you visit Madison at work and before Mom leaves for the office, Mon-Fri in the daytime. This event is not mandatory and can be skipped.
The rest of the events only happen after Mom leaves for work, which happens after a range of other events, at least you have to have met Sarah or know she is in town

how do I learn the spells? just started the game(unlocked Roland and I am stuck at "I want to look up the word(s):")

Have you found the magic stones yet? Cause once you do all you have to do is give one to Roland and you should be able to learn the spell clairvoyance. Also the way to learn spells in the game is trying to match up which words look like the distorted one above all the others.

There are two methods of learning spells in the game and can be changed in the options when you start the game or in your phone
a) rune matching. You will see a grid of symbols, click on the two matching versions. They may be distorted or flipped
b) if I see a list of spell names with gibberish and an edit box you need to type in the name of the spell. Open the Books and it will give a list. Try the names like Serphoni, Dai Chu etc. One will work and you will learn the spell
