This event must be the arrival of King Eric. This is easy to trigger: wait 1 day after the disturbed kiss. Then enter the main square of Arenfields between 8am - 4pm. "Enter" is the key word. Wait until this time and ENTER the map. So leave Arenfield to the north, then immediately go back in. But it can take several days for this to trigger.

And this event triggers conversations that Dave has with Giron. To eavesdrop them, you need access to Giron's villa, then you have to know the secret passage in the bookshelf and sit on the right floor in Giron's bookshelf at the right time and listen.

I hope this helps
The last time I played was ver 0.3.9 before the engine changes that broke the old saves so I've had to start playing it again from the beginning and I've obviously forgotten some of these scenes. The walkthrough doesn't say what the cutscene is so I assumed it was something between Frisha and Dave but if it's the one with the King then I think I'm good as I've had that cutscene, although it still doesn't explain why the quest goal isn't progressing.

This is often the case. In order to progress in the story, there are often many cogs that mesh together, far beyond a specific LI. Many even cross over. You always need something to keep things going somewhere else. This is exactly why I'm working on my own walkthrough, which is not only detailed and therefore a good guide to help you find every single scene you want, but it also explains how everything fits together. The official walkthrough is just good enough to explain what is available, but it doesn't explain how to get to something in individual cases.

Unfortunately, it takes ages to create something like that. The official walkthrough is confusing, the game is not. Everything is well thought out, there are only a few bugs, almost everything works. But as brilliant as the game is, it is also very complex. And if I really want to have everything in it, I really have to play every decision at least once.

A huge job, I tell you. :sleep::love:

That one isn't necessary. Just drink with Rick and start the bar waitress minigame.

It's not that it's unnecessary, but it's the step After the minigame, and you have to have her not reach quota or you won't ever get it.

Invite Rick for a drink, fail the waitress mini-game. Then listen to the conversation between Kate and Thomas upstairs

Been getting into this again and one thing I actually really appreciate is that despite some quests having long wait timers (Mira's 14 days, Henry recovery, and Rumah construction stuff for example), there's still so much other shit to do that you don't even really notice the wait. Kinda nice I don't have to just spam day skipping all the time since there's always something more I could be doing.

I have hired 19 mercenaries and no more because I cured Frank during Lyvia's quest. But recently I defeated a Brigand near the shed outside the bandit camp and found out that he can be recruited. However, when I reload the save and checked with the named merc (Dwain), there is no more room to hire new man. Moreover, if I later defeat a Brigand again I can still hire him (it also works at other location beside the shed). Is this a bug?

This is to give the player the illusion of an actual everyday life. You also have to eat and sleep in the game (otherwise you risk a debuff), occasionally farm certain materials that you need for something, and last but not least, build up the A and C of the respective Li. And it all works and is well thought out, you can really sit in front of the computer for hours and not even notice how time flies. An contrast to other games where you get really bored and grind/farm to death. Then there are the alternative routes, which also distinguish it from typical sandbox games.

These well thought-out and interlocking features, if you get involved with them, give you the feeling of really being part of the game world and thus convey a pleasant atmosphere. I think that is what makes the game successful and sets it apart from the competition. (y)

Hit the nail on the head. Going through this again really did remind me that there isn't much like it in the lewd game world of RPGs. It's almost refreshing in that way.

Exactly how I felt. If I'm forced to be picky and complain about the game, most of the time I only have a problem with the sleeping being inconsistent. In some beds you can sleep until noon; in another bed you don't; some beds use descriptive terms like noon, evening, or midnight, some use 7 am.

that's quite annoying, especially if I wasn't exactly sure what time I was at in the first place and could end up sleeping to the next day.

How the hell did I only discover this game now? This game is actually amazing in terms of gameplay. One of the greatest RPGM games available.
Preach brother, it is (even disregarding the porn) an amazing RPG and I will always cherish Chyos for creating such an amazing game, very immersive and the sexy parts are not only an addition but a legit game mechanic and just as big as the RPG part, it's pretty much a unique game which is why I pledged for a long time. I can only hope for Chyos to stay healthy and well so we get more amazing content for years to come.

This is the only porn game that I actually play for the sake of playing it instead of a quick fap, that's how good the RPG mechanics are.
