Agreed, I am kind of the opposite of Ren'py over RPGM.

I like open ended stuff, I hate games on rails. Ren'py even when it is open, it is still just a series of flat screens, clicking one spot to get to another spot to click. I'd rather play with a controller any day.

There is a little battle grinding in ASWS, but most of it's grind is actually in building Affection / Corruption, which is the same kind of grind you would find in most Ren'py. And there is an in-game cheat book in ASWS that removes battle grinding if you choose.

No, game just literally shut down. Didn't cause any issue with the computer. Sounds like a different issue then, sorry.

I think the rpgm mechanic is important. It really gives the feeling of the MC getting his crap together in a tangible way that Renpy would be hard to offer, though not impossible.

The real Ren'py advantage that it offers over RPGM is that the Player can Play the game with one hand just by holding a button skipping through dialogues/gameplay and Masturbate with the other hand without every needing to pull out vs RPGM which needs two hands to play the game.

But then you end up just whirly past everything, I hate, hate dialogue and cut scenes, (even more so in AAA games), but you need some connection to the story. With Ren'py I end up fast forwarding all connections AND the actual sex scenes.

I see this somewhat different than you.
1) The NTR-aspect isn't that easily described as you said. There are NTR-scenes for many different things and events, BUT: Many NTR-scenes get reused and recycled. They have the same animations for the same person. The vanilla ones with the MC get new animations and slightly different variations. Chyos said it was a ratio of 10:1. I just feels like there are more NTR-scenes, because they come from different events (but, as I said, use the same animations).

2) It's right, that often RPGM games feel like a huge waste-of-time and grinding. This is one of the only games, that has it's own graphics and is really well put together. So ASWS really delivers well with the engine. There is some grind, but it is used for creating an atmosphere. You often need to do some repetitive tasks, but you get new dialogs with the girls and you can feel progress. If you just play for the h-scenes, you won't get as much out of it.
And let's be honest, this game wouldn't work well with RenPy, because the graphics (and models) aren't the best as they come from VaM (Klub17).

I think I found a bug:
It's related to the camp, or more precisely, Imawyn. During the party quest, she says -Why should I care.... The hero wants to raise her trust, but it's not possible, in the tent she says I want to sleep -_- . Maybe it's because I FAILED the Dismantle Bandit camp quest, i.e. Lyvia caught her, although my relationship with Imawyn is 10/10 and I don't know what to do. Maybe I should change the safe file so that the game considers this quest completed? Because otherwise I can't complete the party quest, I can't buy a lute and the guards' mood is always at its lowest...
Here is a save file for clarity, maybe someone understands and can help.

Well, you could be right. I just checked and my save has around 80 hours playtime. I did cheat sometimes, too. But I think the charm of an adult game is that it has adult content, but also gaming elements. This game imho makes the best out of both of it.
And everyone can decide right at the start, if they want the ability to cheat stuff to fasten the game progress (while external options still are available, too).

I just test it. You could talk to her in her tent at 4 pm and the next morning she will help you with party.

This is very strange, because I had her ALWAYS excited and naked on the bed, but this time at 4 pm she stood still and the quest continued , but still something is wrong with her. There was a bug with the costume, after this conversation she asks for new clothes, BUT in fact she is already in it and the quest was empty (until I changed it to another one it just disappeared). And then I noticed that there were 2 of her in the camp ... I remember exactly that this did not happen, I played before the camp update, i.e. the dance was different (it was impossible to choose who to dance with) + she was dressed differently.
Here's an example when there are TWO of her (not that I'm complaining about 2 elves ^_^ ) it's just that the one that is dressed is NOT material and doesn't react to anything.

I struggled with this one too. You get affection points with Heather only when you knock on the door and give her a stew (don't just look inside and enter)

as my experience, most of sex scene triggered after you did change the angle, speed, times, to make the orgasm, keep repeat and repeat, maybe it will happen!
