RPGM A Struggle with Sin [v0.6.1.5] [Chyos]

Good afternoon,

Another week has passed, much faster than I would have liked. But before I continue working, I would like to briefly report on what I have accomplished.

The title image shows most of what I accomplished last week. The management system for Darkholt is almost finished; there are just a few minor issues that need to be ironed out (now that I see it here, I think the resources could be a little smaller than they are... probably 1 line lower).

This and the work on sprites for cultists + the work on 2 maps for renovated houses took up most of my time this week. I could have done it faster... But I had the idea to outsource the code behind the management system to a plugin. The reason for this idea was that calculations for the actions within the outpost, similar to mercenary management, have to be performed at some point. Currently, this happens at midnight, when a whole series of code is executed... This has caused problems in the past, as changing the map at exactly this point in time could trigger unwanted events that led to strange bugs that are difficult to reproduce but can be traced back to this circumstance. To prevent that I added a makeshift solution which was a lot of redundand code (something you don't want because it means when you change something you have to change it at all these instances or you create bugs).

Also, my idea behind this was to develop something similar for the mercenary system in the future, so that it would be easier to add new locations. At the moment, this is always a huge mess that almost always leads to some bugs.
Anyway... to a certain extent, it worked, but not so much in other areas, and it still doesn't work 100% the way I imagined it.
The problem however is, this has now already taken way too much time. Time that I should have put into writing more dialoges and events.

What still needs to be done for this update is the work on scenes for Elisabeth (which also means images & animations for them). And now we already have the 25th and not even a full week left before the month is over and the update is supposed to be done... This whole week I was torn between the work on details and rushing things to get back to my deadline. The more days passed the more frustrating it was for me, that the work on this system couldn't get done quicker.

So, but now time to face reality... I doubt that I can get the missing story + scenes done until the end of the coming week. But at the same time I do want to release an update this month. So what I will try is to get another part release out which will allow you to play up to the point where you manage Darkholt via the interface + of course also play out Verena's scene which I worked on last week. That should be possible to get done. If I can get in more then perfect, but I don't want to promise something I can't hold.

I'm starting to believe that MC will be God at some near in the end of game. Higher than the King and even Uldar. I imagine Uldar being the Final Boss MC as to take down.

I’ve been replaying the game from the beginning for the sake of making a save where I go all in on corruption and most things still hold up well compared to the later updates.

But my issue is the corruption content in general (and to a lesser extent NTR I guess). It’s a big part of the game but none of the content feels appealing. It doesn’t help that characters who are prominent in this route are some of the most bitchmade characters in the game like Thomas, Dave and Dasan. Why not have Sabrina come into town and start trying to clap cheeks since in the corruption route she’s a horny futa? Or introduce a new character who feels like an actual threat to the MC instead of a generic bully like Dave?

This requires Julias Update which is up to vote... it will introduce daily missions which can be completed for favor with the people of Arenfield.
It will allow MC to get Girons acceptance should he have chosen to not support him so far and also allows to get the support of the Pater to marry another person

True. There is no real threat in a sense that they would be competent. Even Dave get's fucked over by his father.

during arianna's hide and seek if u have bianca on party, where the heck is she hiding?

I don't think having Bianca in the party has any effect on Arianna's hiding spots. In this image, the red circles are the spots that I know she can choose to hide. The yellow circles are spots that I think she can choose. It's pretty hard to remember one tree from another.



(It's quite possible that there are more hiding spots. I haven't tried playing hide and seek with her exhaustively.)

EDIT: Started a new game with the 0.6.0.8a release. Spent an hour playing hide and seek and these were all the spots that Arianna hid at. I'm sure that there are a few that are still missing as per the post below. I know for certain that she hid near Corven's camp before in previous releases.

I rmember her hiding behind the big brown tree where the game starts and behind the 2 trees to the right of Corvens tent, but I am the same as you in that regard

Brief path taken (didn't include everyone)
I also wanted to ask those in the know about these points, maybe they know what would have been the best course of action and whether it would be worth expecting a continuation of the plot in these options.
1)
As I understand it, Ugotha's camp is also not finished and we can only get to the point where a) she, b) we. Remove the spell from the hero? At the same time, it is possible to leave partners in the camp and leave, but there are no scenes (i.e. if you leave them there for a long time). Is some kind of continuation planned? And as I understand it, it will be test-related with dark elves + Gwen + Sabrina + Athia? Also in this version (for now) it is available that the queen can brand the hero, there are still places for two daughters (i.e. new plot lines are expected)...
2)
The quest with Tia+Katherin and the "father" with the orc camp is also not finished and I wonder what it will lead to. Maybe it will be connected somehow with the Lainah+maui camp.
2+ Perhaps Sophie will be involved here, who a) will be given to the orcs, b) may escape
3)
The development of the Ophilia quest has also been stopped (Thomas can corrupt her and she will change her outfit, but that's basically it).

Kate + Claire haven't even reached the city yet, but are staying at the Road House ^_^

The quest after the rescue (or not) of Yasmine and the Raven clan (capture or not) was also stopped.

Penny + her sister + Elisabeth very little content and it is not clear what is the best way to proceed.

The Cathedral and its further fate with all the characters (Syfa+Mira etc.). This quest (from a moral point of view) always seemed very difficult to me, because it is 1) interesting, 2) there are many options for choosing events and you never know how to act better or more correctly (or taking into account the content of what is happening).

Anya - I never liked her quest and it's kind of "strange"

Liandra - this time I decided to take her to the camp, according to the new content and development of the camp, I think this choice (now) is more interesting. True, you can only force Tia + Lyvia into NTR. The guard does not touch Imawyn + Liandra (maybe in the future they will).

Nyra and her settlement, I decided to kick out (NOT KILL) Desan, but in the end the settlement "has fun with everyone"
In this playthrough I decided to kill the orcs (not capture them).
Well, if these are the end points, then it turns out that I finally saw all the end points in the game for this version 8)
The game is simply magnificent, the pictures (old) of some of the first characters may seem a little outdated, but you close your eyes to it. Clearly one of the best RPG maker xxx games I've played, definitely in the top 10 ^_^

i guess i formulated the question wrong haha, when u find arianna in any of her spots,
if u have Bianca on the party she says something like (Bianca) "imma hide somewhere else" and u get a prompt from game that Bianca is hiding somewhere and she disappears from party, so the one i want to find is Bianca, bcs if u go to the right toward the rumah forest or south to hunting zone, ur party, including bianca or whoever u had at that moment reappear so I guess Bianca 'minigame' ends

if u have Bianca on the party she says something like (Bianca) "imma hide somewhere else" and u get a prompt from game that Bianca is hiding somewhere and she disappears from party, so the one i want to find is Bianca, bcs if u go to the right toward the rumah forest or south to hunting zone, ur party, including bianca or whoever u had at that moment reappear so I guess Bianca 'minigame' ends

Nope. First of all, at some point you have to decide to "deepen the relationship with Kate," which inevitably leads to sex. (She may have already had sex with Thomas or Rick beforehand.) And to even get her to have sex with Odric/Toren, she has to have experience with anal sex. Which, in turn, isn't possible until you've had sex with her. So, no, that's not possible.

In my party, when beginning Arianna's hide and seek, i have Lyvia, Tia and Bianca. -- Lyvia and Tia disappear but Bianca remains
- Upon finding Arianna at any of her hiding spots (except for the fallen tree trunk), and spawning by the place at where u start her hide and seek quest (u know the place she always stands at) her 'reward' dialogue triggers
- Still with Bianca in the party Bianca says that she is gonna hide and game prompts "Bianca is hiding somewhere" but still no matter how much i look i cannot find her and if i go south or east full party just reappears
so i still dk if it is a miniquest that is already added or a secret scene or what

There is none, it's just a convenient way for Chyos to say "Bianca left the Party but will be back later", which is also in Character

The first time you play the game with Tia and/or Lyvia in the Party both say it's to childish, Tia wants to bash something in, preverably an Orc and Lyvia Patrolls the area.
After the first time they just silently leave the Party to do their thing
