You're right, in theory.
However; what I'm understanding here is that he is supposed to be a hybrid dragon-angel(god?)-human or some sh1t, and he lost the angel(god?) part so he's now just human-dragon. You also got to remember the creative liberties some people take when it comes to storytelling so maybe Nephilim in the authors universe is anything/everything that is a mixture of human and any other fantasy race.

The story seems interesting and reminds me of another vn that never got finished, archon something something. Hope this one gets more love and is not just a money trap for people to donate while the author just takes the money and makes an update every 6 months.

I'm not saying it won't succeed. it's just that seeing mc being called a Nephilim irks me because I like the idea of a mc having an angel parent and in this case it isn't that. if they called him something like dragonkin or dragonborn, then it wouldn't be such an issue to me. it just feels like dev saw the term, thought it sounded cool, and went with it

The game getting finished has nothing to do with some random person on a forum and everything to do with the developer. This game has had two updates in two years. That is one update a year and the most recent "update" isn't even an update but a rework. It's going nowhere. I wish that wasn't true because the premise sounds interesting but giving this game any attention is a complete waste of time.

not a remake but more a 'spiritual successor' or something but its Reluctant Archon.... you can find it in the forum it has its own thread

The scenario is interesting, the cg΄s are quite good and the story progresses in a good pace. Kind disappointing that a game so invested in quality cg's has no animations
