The money is porn games is used more for going full time and to pay a few people but most of them dont actually produce more by going full-time and they most likely see its so much cash they rather stay has one to get all juice, there is only a few games that has a team. DC doesnt get all that money he has a team to pay salary monthly and he has to put money to the side to pay for the animators and pay the website etc, for him to put updates monthly he already mentioned this he would have to find a 2nd artist which he started to look for one for over year and all the people that applied didnt succeed copying the artstyle, he still trying to find one and soon it find the person it will automaticly join the team, so what that means the art would be produced faster and they could add more content (this is the only issue with SS)

Let me tell u something there is a indie game called Darq the dev never spended a dime on the game and never asked for money, he took three and half years to do the game barely any knowlodge on unity or coding and he never once was unmotivated by not having any money support and he worked when he the time, when he released the game he was so mindblown how people were liking the game and seeing the positives reviews and people even willing to buy dlc's if the game had and he what he did has gratitude, he gave the DLC he had done for free, the game costs 19.99€/$ he could have profit from the dlc and he didnt. (this is a simple story how money isnt required to produce a game but motivation to do it, u might find this story not relevant to the money issue u talking but its just to show money is not everything and if the games are lacking content its the devs fault for some reason and not because it doesnt have enough money to produce more)

Thats how you fix it, the patreon model is horrible extremely anti consumer and rewards laziness, none of this comes as a surprise, at best youd have to be very responsible and stop supporting devs that dont work, but you know most other patrons wont do that, and the devs always have an excuse dont they oh my aunt died, oh Im depressed, oh my dog ate my code, oh Im getting ready to put the game on Steam, its easier to just stay subscribed isnt it rather than unsubscribing then subcribing again when they do good, yeah they know that and they count on it, you are trapped buddy, in a terrible system designed to suck your money.
If I had a game with a big patreon Id be even worse with updates

Just downloaded the latest version (0.29a). Game starts, no problem. If, however, I use UnRen to enable console and developer menu, game doesn't start, instead I get the following error message:

ok go in to the game and delete files that unren made regarding the unren-dev.rpy try again

by the way what are you trying to do in the console by enter cheats?

I don't know yet, haven't played the game yet. I sometimes like to check the variables list. The console is just a bonus.
