Is this game worth playing? Is the story intresting?
Tl;dr: If the art does not turn you off, most people like it. Just don’t expect any fulfilling updates. You need to wait at least a year to see some actual progress. 12+ hours of content based on Steam reviews.
Long answer: Sort-of.
On the face of it, it has a very mixed appeal, with many people really liking it, while others being already turned off by the art or by how NTR-adjacent some interactions can be.
Aside from that, the major dividing point in reviews seems to be between people who played it once and enjoyed it, and people who looked at the sheer development time and decided that the lack of polish and moderate amount of content is absolutely unacceptable in comparison.
After well over a year of more and more regularly game-breaking bugs, we recently got a pretty bug-free version for the first time in ages. The code is still a mess, and I would not be surprised if you could still find a few minor bugs if you looked for them. There are also a few SPAG errors in the writing if you look for it.
The main story progress feels like it has stalled out if you compare it to the 7 or so years it has been in development. There is still 12+ hours of content content (main+side stories). However, even as the main story grows longer, the main selling point of the plot, the sex world, feels perpetually
just out of reach. Instead, the main story progress of the last few years has been the least sexy part of the entire game. There are always
hints at something sexy and dangerous being there, but then nothing actually happens, or it happens entirely off-screen. (Examples: Weird sex machine in the cellar… not shown on screen yet. Install cameras to spy on weird sex cultists who usually fuck 24/7 and wear clothes that are barely even there? They walk menacingly while clothed in full-body robes and nothing else.)
The characters tend to have actual
character. They and their stories are quirky in both good and bad ways, which, again, might turn people away. "Does what the game has count as NTR?" is a recurring discussion for a good reason. There are also some inconsistencies in the writing, particularly continuity errors.
Some might possibly be explained by magical influence/psychological break down/doppelganger, but that is speculation.
Then there is the incomplete content everywhere… The dev seems to have noticed that his porn game became less and less sexy. The solution: Let Patreons vote on sex scenes, which he then implements. Integrating them logically into the game comes
much later, if at all. A handful of scenes now fit neatly into the character paths. Others are literally just "walk up to girl you barely know, select the scene you want to play". Very very disappointing, especially since the literal sex world would have fit many of these interactions quite well.
