How about you start making a game with same storyline line, same game mechanics and hand drawn art style?
It's not that hard to do right?

Would you look at that, the 'F95 Special'. "If you don't like it, make your own."

I bought this game on steam years and years ago because I thought this game was promising. Do I have a more legitimate claim for being disappointed with this game because I paid money for it or is that still not good enough?

Holy cow! This game is still not completed, and I can't help but wonder how much longer this is going to continue. I mean, I fully understand how challenging it can be to create detailed drawings and animations, but I can't shake the feeling that the story is becoming quite boring. It seems like it might be time for the developer to wrap this project up and move on to a new, more engaging storyline that captures the audience's interest.

This game has no reason for not to be completed, dev has no excuse at this point.

I've seen games with so much more content being completed in a fraction of what this game has been in development.

I'ts been 8 years since the first release, i can assure you that this game is on a "remaking" phase just to suck money on patreon and such.

Why not move forward to another game and possibly gain a name in the community and earning/deserving more money as a consecuence?

Because greedy people will always be greedy.

This is what gets me. The concepts of these games aren't brilliant, genius premises. They're usually a dime a dozen. You can easily just riff on the same thing over and over and you'll build a fan base that'll follow you between projects.
