Yes I'm stuck too, there are four people blocking the way to the star......really frustrating

Too late for original poster of this,but I also managed to get stuck by this, and soon realized I had inadvertently repeated an earlier task.
Fix was to either go back to a save before you repeated the task or go though and complete all the tasks after that re-triggered task again.
