Are you sure it's just about making fan art? We've had no objections here from L&P to us making fan art, and he's a member, so he'd certainly be able to.
If you were making money from fan art, especially if you don't credit him as the original creator, then you're impinging on his right to making a living from his creation, and that's not cool, and he has every right to ask you to stop doing that.

What exactly did the message say? As Hominusnocturnal said, there are many here that enjoy your work, and you may well be able to continue making AWAM fan art and posting it here, like the rest of us do. Just not on a financial platform like Patreon.

Why not both? Personally I think westpod should continue to post his AWAM fan art here, for free, like before. And have his original work on Patreon, so that his fans here can still support him.

And I'm not saying you're not entitled to make money off your work. The reason I would like to see what L&P sent you is so I can work out a way so that you can both make money. I listen to cover bands, that make things like swing and metal versions of songs, and they make money from Patreon all the time. If I can work out what a fan art version of this would be, then we'd be home sweet.

Sorry I can't do it. I don't care about the law of copyright but I care Dev. feeling. If he is feeling I copy that and create disadvantage not benefit. So, I have to stop it. And especialy, I'm not happy either.
You know, I've posted my art to public in my country and they love it. I tell them hey play this game you will love this girl. If you play a game, you will know who is creater and support them, is that right? You know, I really want someone to do this like me to promote around the world. And Dev. Stopper, he is understand.
You can't download from Patreon? 555 Just google a ton of free download a game. Why Patreon still alive? BECAUSE PEOPLE LOVE YOU. It's not Patreon restrict function to protect download.
