The patch on the homepage does work, you just need to copy the patch in the 'game' folder (the folder that is named 'game') after extracting it and that's it.
AWAM began by promising 2 things which, for a time, served to differentiate it from other games I'd played. Specifically, these were, "realism & class." They could only ever be present as "veneers" in a game of this type but they existed to the extent that I began to think that the 3D porn game was finally coming of age, after 20+ years. This impression was reinforced by what were then some of the best renders in the genre. Both realism & class have been removed, as though with an industrial vacuum cleaner. Any consideration of realism, veneer or not, was surgically extracted with the cross town drive to take a shower at the school, after already having had a bath, (Sophia's water OCD being evident from early in the game), only to pick up useless 'filthy points' & project a half-hearted attempt at the tired old racially stereotyped BBC fetish, or to put it another way, "what a waste of time."
It's harder to pinpoint exactly when the class disappeared, it seemed to gradually dissipate, until Sophia's already large 36B breasts, (as told to the movers & just the right size IMO), morphed, more than once, into the 44DDs that simply would not be present on a woman as active as the former MC & which had her standing out like a proverbial sore thumb in the crowd of soccer moms, even though it can be assumed that none of the others undertake the continuous exercise & sports regime of Sophia. (Morning, noon & night, she never stops & this on top of a hectic lifestyle). None of them are sports teachers, for instance. As I've said elsewhere a woman with her money would have these gross protuberances reduced to match the rest of her once-proportionate figure, before she starts to have back problems, given her age. So much for realism & class but what made it worse was the decline in her intelligence that seemed to always come to the fore when handsome teens & especially Dylan were around. Her personality became not so much 'corrupted,' as subsumed by that of a naive 14 year old virgin. Fans even talk of her 'losing her virginity,' so it's not just my opinion.
Followers who played from the start are probably better placed to recognise what I've outlined. New fans simply find themselves playing an engrossing game, with a large amount of content & may not have had time, as yet, to appreciate the problematic pace of AWAM, or the complications provided by its many technically redundant characters.
Because the Dev understands his audience so well he decided to make Dylan MC & focus on incest. I agree there has to be wish fulfilment but when will any of that, even if it's just for Dylan fans, occur exactly? Currently the pace suggests an end after the year 2050. How old will today's sub-teens & tweenagers be then, give or take a couple of years... Sophia's age?
Anyone who had their fill of trash porn many years ago, could initially, look forward to a top quality game in AWAM, in the days when it seemed set fair to be the No.1 erotic VN up to the present time. I've no doubt that many fans still do. Anyone over the age of 18, who may have had a number of varied sexual relationships with women of different types, who doesn't relish incest, or wanted a good, reasonably paced, multi-faceted story, however, are out of luck with AWAM. Why am I still commenting, after not playing for over 3 years? It's partly the interest I have in decline, (as with declining franchises or empires), including managed decline. I also want to see which of my predictions for AWAM's future development happen. All are still on course at present. Not forgetting it's 'because I can' & 'That's the power of AWAM,' which has given guidelines for any 3D porn game developers wishing to resonate with a wider audience, on what not to do.

I don't think that the patch is made for part 1 cuz it already has the beginning of the tutoring event (which is one) so use it in the 2nd part.

I'm not saying this to diss L&P, but I suspect the % progress for 0.225 will be slowing down as he gets to the lewd content. He'll get carried away, the number of renders will become longer than anticipated and that'll make the % to stagnate. He knows this update will draw in lots of people (he's selling it as the biggest hottest yet), the lewdness will surely grow out of proportion to the point of being even inmersion-breaking. Same thing that happened with the tutoring job update.
