There are tons of games on this very site which make the whole plot out of the wife fucking her neighbors, friend's boyfriends or (especially) the husband's boss, and the associated emotional upheaval. If L&P fails to implement them effectively --like he failed in this update, where these characters have no agency and it all hinges on Dylan's cuck wishes-- that's on him.

The story of Sophia and everyone else also includes Dylan. LP can't give up these (here refers to other people). Think about it, if LP only focused on the D&S storyline, Dylan would have been on base long ago. Obviously, LP won't do that. I also like slow-paced games, but there hasn't been any substantial action in 8 years. It's not that I don't like it, but many people can't wait. I think all the above problems, including Sophia and anyone else, are not the biggest problem. The biggest problem is that LP can't drag it on like this. People are gradually losing confidence in Sophia. If the on-base event really comes, it's hard to guarantee that many players will lose their original intentions.

First of all, this is L&P's only game, and with the amount of support he is receiving, it looks like he is comfortable with where "he" is with the revenue. Second, "he" is the main person working on the game, with a couple of people helping "him", mainly through coding and script reading. "He" does not have a full-time staff on hand, as most of the game design he handles is around 85-90%. Also, "he" went from Full PDs > Half PDs > One-third PDs > Now, Event PDs, as long as he pretty much stays a one-person production team, it will only get longer. This is because "he" is not comfortable sharing his Daz assets with others, as "he" fears someone might take "his" assets and create their own game, which is possible. The shelf life for AWAM was supposed to be 3-4 years from 2018, but that is no longer the case. At the time, AWAM was considered popular, and "he" realized that he might be sitting on a gold mine.
As long as sycophants are willing to support "him," and "he" is comfortable with the revenue "he" is receiving, then yes, "he" can drag out this game for as long as "he" wants. So, if people are losing confidence, then they are going to have to speak with their pocketbook.

The game is what you make of it folks, but your choices will only get you so far. I see many people complain about Dylan and Sophia or Sophia and Ellie. You can make your choices Sophia to be "good wife" or go down the corruption path with Sam or others. But the truth is, taboo (like incest) sells. What do you think all those stepmom videos on PornHub are about? That generate revenue. And as long as people want it, L&P will work more on those storylines than others. It is what it is guys. It's about the money, not the game. Don't expect L&P to dedicate his time now to develop ALL other story branches and then return to Dylan/Ellie and Sophia. Next update will be about Sophia/Patricia (and maybe some Dylan/Patricia, Dylan/Zoey's daughter action with Sophia watching them in secret like Ellie at the party) at the ranch. I might be wrong, but I doubt it. We'll see in a year from now.

Whose stereotype exactly, is probably only known at this juncture, to the Dev.
