Not just, but incest is the primary aspect, so keep Ellie and Patricia too. Guarantee he could drop the meaningless stuff and still keep more than half his subs. If AWAM were just a game about incest, I probably wouldn't have encountered it, but L$P didn't. He created so many interesting character plots, like Sofia and her neighbor, her husband's boss, and her best friend's boyfriend. Why? Why is the game called "A Wife and Mother" instead of "Sofia and Dylan" or "Dylan and His Family"? We don't know what L$P is truly trying to achieve, or what he's been up to for the past eight years. Our goal is becoming increasingly murky, so we can only wait and see.

How are her neighbour, husband boss and best friend boyfriend interesting characters? What purpose do they have for the overall story? They are minor side characters, nothing more, and when a dev starts to focus on side characters instead of the main characters (Sophia, Dylan, Ellie and Patricia in a way), things never go well for such devs since the story drags eternally and the game is abandoned. This happens plenty with VN´s here. Side characters are good and well, but the moment you lose focus of them, the game is dead.

Sofia is the only protagonist. This game tells the story of Sofia and everyone else. That's very meaningful. According to you, the game should be called "Sofia and Her Family." Everyone has their own preferences. Some people enjoy mother-son incest, others NTR. Such people do exist in forums. Arguing about theories won't change the outcome; we'll just have to wait and see.

Given the obvious youth of many, perhaps the majority of AWAM fans, I'll assume, for the moment or "hypothetically" if you prefer, that few of them may as yet have encountered a situation where one of the obvious things to do appears to be the act of carrying a woman to bed, or for the sake of clarity, carrying a woman anywhere, including "over the threshhold." How this would be accomplished in Sophia's case, especially by someone like Dylan, would stretch the game's lack of realism even further than it's been extended in the last 3+ years.

There was a time when not only was Sophia the actual MC, as the game's title suggested but she was a big-busted, voluptuous, yet elegant example of a MILF. She didn't resemble the old stereotype with ridiculous proportions, so beloved of schoolboys who've yet to see an older woman naked outside of a porn mag or film. I don't believe for a minute that they ALL want their MILFs to be inflatables.

Now, despite the jogging, swimming, yoga, gym visits, home exercise, sports teaching & generally hectic life-style, she is the same shape as every other so-called MILF in any random, formulaic 3D game. Why the Dev decided to trash his character like this is within the realm of, "it's his game," etc. Is it because it's "where the market is" or is this a different Dev?

Actually, it started with Sophia being the protagonist/MC of AWAM. However, when Dylan became the most popular casting/support character in all the polls conducted by L&P on Patreon and SubStar, "He" elevated Dylan to MC status and has him as the 2nd MC of AWAM. This is also because the M/S story arc is the most popular in AWAM, which elevates his revenue quite a bit when M/S story is the current update.

There are tons of games on this very site which make the whole plot out of the wife fucking her neighbors, friend's boyfriends or (especially) the husband's boss, and the associated emotional upheaval. If L&P fails to implement them effectively --like he failed in this update, where these characters have no agency and it all hinges on Dylan's cuck wishes-- that's on him.
