That's easy for us to say. Of course I would like him to quit his other job and quit college and focus entirely on his game, but I can't say he's trolling or fooling me if he doesn't, because he's goals were there from the start

Nobody force him to make this game.He choose it.But it's pretty damn obvious that he can't keep it together with work,studies,the game and RL.We all want to do several thigns at the same time but that is simply impossible.
Everybody must choose what is more important to him.

I agree with you, they'll probably take the longest to develop - but do you think it' L&P's tactic to avoid dealing with Patreon's content rules?
I was thinking the son, daughter & sister stories would take the longest because they're double-taboo.
Getting off with the neighbor/co-worker - that's just good old fashioned Adultery
But getting off with the a family member - that's Adultery + Incest meaning it's twice as many hurdles for Sister-Sophia to jump.
I feel for the Sophia x Ellie fans because that's Adultery + Incest + Lesbian - triple hurdles.

I can see the reasoning behind it - like with any fantasy RPG, as a player you don't get the badass, ultra-damage, legendary magic sword at the start of the game because then you'd have nothing to work towards.
In porn games the fan-favourite character remains un-fucked for longest to keep players engaged - and now developers are tweaking that rewards-system to string players along.
It's difficult to tell sometimes. But I'm still confident that L&P isn't stringing things along for the continued revenue, mainly because story progression has been consistently slow since the beginning.
Of course it's possible, he's doing it right now

Let's hope he will quit his other activities, either by reaching his goal or without it...

To me what l&p is doing is kind of a blackmail (haha i think he has a fetish for that) i mean he told us that if he reach his goal then he can work more and give faster updates so basically is putting conditions, give me more money i give you more content, sorry man this is not a healthy approach to business... you gave stopper as an comparison he always told us that he has a 2 months release schedule and is all what he can offer, even more now he changed that and sayed that when the update is ready(tho is trying to stay in that 2 month period) then he will release it, without putting conditions or terms like if i make that sum of money or reach that goal, that is a healthy honest approach and we can deal with it... so l&p should take the risk if he want's more money to give faster updates and bigger updates and be less proud of himself(we all know what i mean here) by doing this full time, maybe it will work maybe not simple as that... other problems that this guy has it doesn't concern us we all have our own problems to deal with...

Having 2ce as much renders should not take 2ce as much time, especialy as some people have pointed out - a lot of them are going to be swimsuit variations, and scenes variations depending on scores.
Just saying. No reason to get riled up in advance.

No but he said that second half of the day will have 3 huge events.Not to mention another 2-3 small.And so far even the first big event is not done.So we can easily guess that there is simply no way to finish whole update in April.The best we can get in April is the beach event+sam event.And later in May/June the other 2 big events+some small
He also promised a monthly update with full playable day from the start, remember? Now he's talking about a quarter playable day per update. so, he fooled his supporters and you're free to not feel the same.
The crazy thing with this guy is that the more he earns money and the less he works on the game.
DecentMonkey (fashion Business) earns less than L&P and he share his money with a team which allow him to release a monthly update with more than 1 200 quality renders. Because hiring a helper for a few hundreds bucks is also an option to create more content and speed up the game pace. But L&P likes money too much and he's not ready to spend it in any way to fulfill his promises to supporters as long as there are people like you who will keep defending him and pay for nothing.
from the beginning L&P had let believe that his story is already written and that he was not ready to change anything in it.
But we all noticed by the start of this month when he came to consult his supporters for the first time in almost two years for changes in the game, and he was ready to remove parts of it (Mr. benett story line). And guess why? It was just because he saw his monthly income drop dramatically.
In fact, L&P will try to keep studies, work and maximum income from the game even if he reaches his goals. the only thing that he will sacrifice is the game pace to keep you pay for as many years as he can.

why people cant enjoy the game.always the boring conversation about the money i see games that make way more money and take 4 or 5 months for a new upgrade.

My guess is because the devs are honest from the start that we have to wait 3-4 months for an update and the update is usualy pretty big/1000+ renders plus 50+ animations/.I am talking for ICSTOR and DC of course,no idea for others.
The other problem is that even for a VN AWAM have way too small interaction part.Not to mention that the choices have almost no pay out so far and we won't see the consequences for a very long time.
I already stated that he promised monthly updates from the beginning of the game's development. I believe, and you may have a different opinion, that he made a rookie's mistake. That's his first game, so I can forgive him for that mistake (and you and others may hold it against him for the rest of the game's development).
You said "the more he earns money and the less he works on the game", and that's not true. You can check the number of renders per update and the time it takes him to release an update and you wouldn't notice a significant change. As the game progresses, each game day has more variants due to different routes and decisions and the result is more renders per game day in average. And because he has a steady rise in his income (until recently), I can understand why it looks as if he works less on his game while earning more money. That's the negative aspect of the fact he wrote the whole script from the start and the multiple branches and side stories of the game.
I've never met l@p or DecentMonkey. I don't know their age, educational level, health state or financial situation. That's why I'll never tell them what to do with the money they earn. Do I wish l@p quit his job, quit college and spend his money on help - of course I do, but that's irrelevant. All his patrons donate him money while knowing his goals. Now if he ever reach his goal of 6500$ and the pace (of renders per month) wouldn't change, that imo will be a good reason to doubt him. Until then, and while the pace (yes, again the renders per month pace) wouldn't change, I don't see a reason to doubt him.
Yes, I'm paying him, but for me, and I guess that for most of his patrons it's not for nothing (as you kindly wrote).
