The updates wouldn't be quicker, but the progression would be. Simply because the slots would be taken by the remaining characters. The updates taking a long time isn't itself the main issue, it's the combination of the updates taking a long time + many characters. Which slows everyone's progression. The same update time + fewer characters, should, in theory, speed up the progression. As each remaining characters gets more events.

As I mentioned in my last post. A Sam/Dylan/Pat/Sophia museum date would a better use of time than the college boys.

I think that that would depend on the event , just think back to Aiden's last task as that took 4-6 weeks to do.
The fashion show took a long time to complete and also the prison visit jumped up by 60 renders in total so no I don't think that cutting characters would help

You really seem to be against cutting secondary characters. Possibly since it would put Alyssa squarely on the chopping block?

Just going to throw this out there as I think that nobody has thought about this.
Whether or not Sophia goes all the way or not with Larry and the debt is paid in full or is reduced somewhat could lead to some interesting things that nobody has mentioned so far.
Sophia becomes Morello companion/escort to events,meeting clients/fund raising that kind of thing so what do you think if Sophia was to finally meet Aiden's uncle at one of these events as it could prove interesting.

It could also be the case that the Uncle works for the Don, or maybe for an equally, or more powerful Don from a rival crime family. Again it's a bit of a kaleidoscope & things could get complicated, not least for Sophia.

Thinking about storylines of this type, I can't help but feel that it would drag the VN out even more than at present but who knows, this might even be already planned as the start of the forthcoming difficult way out of the tasks. That's assuming we ever get that far, of course.

Any interaction between the cast would then depend on what had happened in the meantime, especially what had happened with or to Aiden. There are numerous possibilities.

Yes, they aged 4 years in 1 day but were always meant to be in the 16-17 bracket, despite original appearances. Dylan & Sam, I regarded as shota-lite. (OK Dylan's a bit different but I avoid the incest when I can). I still think of them this way but now there's the full-on genuine article & there's no mistaking it. I don't want to reopen the old controversy but the way the last episode with the apostles was presented in pictures & dialogue seemed to me as though it came from a different VN. I resolved the issue to my own satisfaction by dropping the 2nd side job & reactivating the 1st. If I had a choice they'd both be gone.

It would be a good opportunity to bring Morello's uncle into the game as a lawyer for the negotiations about the remaining debt. But it doesn't seem to be going that way. Because if Sophia collects all the points at the meeting with Larry, there is no residual debt and therefore no need to meet the lawyer. Maybe the lawyer is a pig like his nephew and Sophia has to have sex with the lawyer after the 8th task to get rid of Aiden. For me this is the most obvious possibility now and therefore it will surely not happen like this.

I have never known for sure that this will happen but I mentioned it way back when the news about Morello first broke.
To start with even if the debt is cleared Morello clearly has an interest in Sophia so a request from Morello to accompany him to an event could seem harmless to Sophia and she maybe weary of turning him down.
As for meeting the uncle this could happen if the uncle is connected to Morello and Sophia may not even realise at first that he is Aiden's uncle but all this is speculation on the uncle part.
