Yes but I was trying to lighten things up. On a serious note, I get your perspective, but the only thing you can do is trust the process or stay away from the game, it's not worth it to get upset over.

He's getting closer to the Sophia we know, I'll give him that.

But... the main issue for me is still very much visible, which is that she just looks WAY younger. That will, atleast in my opinion, have a massively negative impact on the story itself as she'll look more like Dylan&Ellie's older sister rather than their mother. Not like there's much realism left, but this just makes it worse all around.

Certain features of the new face just look flat. Her eyes and eyebrows, cheekbones, the nose area...it just looks like a photoshopped Sophia. Like someone took her photo, slapping filters on it, removing any facial feature that'd make her look like an actual ~38 year old woman. Something you'd expect to see happen for a glamour magazine of some sort.

Has has two 3090 which will add up to a lot of cores(20992) and ram(48) in total which will reduce the time needed for rendering.
The more cores/ram the card has the better.

of course but surely increasing the quality of the textures will still lead to longer render times?

In my opinion, I think the new texture looks very similar to the old one, she looked gorgeous with the old texture and she looks gorgeous with this new one, great work L&P!

The real problem with the old texture, and I fear with the new one, is that the physiognomy of the female characters is too stylised, cartoon style. Sophia's wasp waist cannot be seen and seriously compromises any intention of verisimilitude. If there ever is. It may be a desired effect. However, I don't like it.

The time difference will not matter as his cards can handle a lot more than just HQ skin textures textures.

I believe for us fans of the game, we like the fact that she's a MILF, but her new looks takes this aspect away. She needs to keep her MILF look. This new one looks like she's on her 20s.

Also, she's more pale now. Her tan and tanlines from the old version looks more appealing, tbh.

I hope the dev takes this into consideration. I love the game and I cheer for it's success.
