))))) You forget it's about the mafia!

Here many scold L&P for the fact that Dylan got in touch with the bully Ayden in the story !!!
But Sophia and Liam are getting involved in a much more dangerous story !!!

This must be understood! And gangster romanticism, the promises made have little to do with reality.
Who is more stupid? Dylan or his father. I think, his father.

Morello is based on the "God Father" character so we will have to take at face value for now that he is telling the truth.
You are not paying attention! Above there is a post with renders and quotes that confirm that after meeting in prison, they will have another talk and summarize the agreements! That is, in fact, the promises relate to the first meeting, but then, in the future, absolutely everything is possible!

With the promise that Don Morello made to her (their debt could be paid off if his brother is happier after her visit) and far from her husband's control, Sophia could probably show her underwear (or even her nipples!), but for obvious limits to the freedom of movement of Don Morello's brother, I think his character will be added to the list of those who can look but not touch.
Rather, I think that also for Don Morello's character there will be a list (maybe shorter and less blackmailing than Aiden's) of "favors" (chatting with casino clients, playing the piano, taking his wife shopping, a blowjob?) that Sophia, with her many talents, will be able to indulge in (and she may not necessarily mind).

I repeat! This is how the mafia works. They tell you what you want to hear, what you like and focus on it. But other things that will make you later, later to be obliged, say less accented. They come back to them later, when you relax and decide that everything is behind! They point out to you what also sounded and you heard and this forces you to act as the mafia wants!

Morello said the most important thing is that then we will decide everything after meeting with his brother! So?

First this...
I see that many have problems with the "Dylan twist". There are a few who mostly understood what's actually behind it but most people don't. Anyway, I will think about, how to change this storyline.
My thoughts were: Dylan's a horny naive high school kid, who likes his mother more than he actually should. He would love to see her in the same sexy dresses like earlier but she'd never listen to him. I read some suggestions which would supposedly be more realistic, like Dylan could be nice to his mom, and take her to dinner or similar. I mean seriously? You think taking her out and then he will ask her "Mom, can you please wear skimpy dresses from now on? Preferably braless, by showing much of your legs and cleavage. Like you did earlier". You think Sophia would say yes???
Dylan thinks that this could have something to do with a midlife crisis, that she doesn't feel desirable anymore. By "loosening her up" with wearing skimpy sexy dresses, he promises himself that this would make her happier but especially make it easier for him to approach her and ask her for more "educational help". He knows that only an extreme situation will change her mind, so he created one. But for him it was just the deal for her getting dressed more sexy. Aiden invented the 12 tasks to exploit the situation in his favor. But neither Dylan nor Aiden would have ever thought that Sophia would actually accept the deal. And the decision about that is also Sophia's! Dylan didn't even know about any dubious "12 tasks" at all! Plus he doesn't know Aiden as well as the readers do! He just heard rumors about him and approched him with his plan. And not Aiden asked Dylan to do something for him but Dylan offered him to get some valuable data with his hacking slills if Aiden plays along with his weird plan. But Aiden saw his chance here and wants to test his teacher how far she will go.
And many also see Aiden on the level of Ted Bundy! But Aiden's just a occasional bully with an influential uncle. I mean what did he ask Sophia to do yet? Getting dressed more sexy and bending down? I had teachers who did this voluntary!
And Dylan can defend himself and has many friends as well as Zac. He's not the victim type, and doesn't fit in his "predator prey system"! Sophia and Alyssa mentioned this a couple of times, which makes them not understand why this is even happening to their boys.
But maybe this all is much to complicated, and people tend to see Dylan immediately on the villain side. So, I will think about how to change it. Maybe also do a poll about it.
Then the responses...
I hadn't expressed myself about the Dylan plan yet, but beyond your arguments I still think that the twist seems forced and out of nowhere. Faking being bullied and even being hit just to see her mom in sexier dresses in the school? First, he can see her in bikini and underwear in his own house. Second, you have given us hints about Dylan being unconfortable of how others look at her. Now, does he want to share her mother attributes with his schoolmates?

The twists that nobody expect are interesting as long as they are coherent and happen in a logic and realistic territory, something that in this case doesn't ocurr.

On the other hand, I noticed that the animations quality dropped in this update. I know that is a lot of work behind the game, but try not to decrease the quality of those things.

That also happened in the other events, like Sophia over the sybian.

But I don't want to mention only the negative aspects of this update. I think that the Sophia/Ellie/Julia event was
impeccable. That event has your trademark: great build up, good pace, tension and huge erotism. The opposite of Liam scenes in this update. The Alyssa event was great too.
Into the Realm, I go.

I would agree with your statement here that it would be far from realistic for Dylan to ask Sophia with the example above in your comment. It would take another course of action to get her to change like that. Patricia????

And this is the problem of how the story flows to the next when we learned about Dylan's plan in the Boarding School Dorm. At what point was there any indications or hints in the story that Dylan would make a comment in that scene of a Midlife Crisis? And how would someone of that age even remotely know what a "Midlife Crisis" is and know if someone was going through it???? Also, There are talks that Dylan formulated this "Setup" out of "Good Intentions." When you Blackmail or Plan a setup for someone it basically for the one who planned it personal gain, and you just confirmed that with this comment which is in Bold and Underline in your statement. So this is why Dylan is now to be perceived as a "Villian" because he just set her up with indirect blackmail through his plan.

The statement about Dylan hearing rumors and didn't know him well like the readers just fell apart here. Knew is the keyword here. So he knew all about Aiden when he approached him about his plan.

an occasional bully?? It seems he more than a bully.

Dylan and Zac may be able to defend themself with their friends, but that's not how it played out. It plays out as a plan of manipulation and indirect blackmail on Dylan's part for planning it. Once again, this is why Dylan has a bad reputation.

Your Artwork is very good. There some story paths that are put together very well. The one-story that comes to mine is Sophia/Ellie/Patricia. To me, that story is well told from the start when Sophia and Patricia clothes shopping, spied on Ellie and Julia, Sophia/Ellie clothes shopping with or without Emma, the workout with Patrica in the park and at the club, the spa scene with Sophia/Ellie/Patrica, to the club scene, and the multiple Sophia/Ellie shower scene. The Sophia/Ellie/Patricia path is in chronological sequence and it’s flowing very well.

Now for Sophia's and Dylan's story, once again, in my opinion, that story feels like it has no sequence as it appears the plot is bouncing around. Sophia/Dylan seems to be regressing instead of growing like Sophia/Ellie/Patricia and some of the plots are far-fetched.

Now I'm going to finish with this comment, I'm going to side with your "members" and say that you should tell the story as you want it to be told since you're the author of this story. If you wish to change any of the storylines, then do it because you want to do it. But when someone criticizes you about your story based on comments from you or your Patreon page, be prepared to answer it coherently and don't be argumentative about it.

This is your choice, but you may want to see if you can find people that may help you out with your novel.
L&P

... uhm!? What was that in the bikini show? She did say yes!? Or? :cautious:
It's not that 'we don't like it' my dude. It's inconsistency. How you're going to pick a fight with 5 guys who not even the police can deal with, and then suddenly reveal 'hey, i am the mastermind of the blackmail he's doing to you, mom'. Ask yourself, how, when and where, did it happen?
Maybe take her out, have a good time, fun, a pleasant conversation, along with some good placed truthful compliments and admiration throughout the date...THEN...instead of asking her that and in that way...Dylan could ask the same thing for the same purpose in a better way, better phrased and even to sound hopeful...wishful and not demanding or tactless.

The question can match the occasion, in the quoted example of the question, the question wouldn't match with the occasion of a date out with her but it could be made to match it and to make Sophia feel sexy, desired, and admired for her beauty by her son.

However, as Hlextor says here, the solo bikini fashion show was showered with compliments and admiration and it was fun and respectful towards Sophia and she enjoyed it and wanted to look sexy for her son, it mattered to her.

So far, with the blackmail, Dylan has achieved nothing for himself. I can't find a benefit for Dylan with the blackmail. I would say that only Sophia's students benefited, no one else. And a little bit, Alyssa, knowing that Sophia goes to class without a bra, maybe, has given her courage to go further.
Dylan has achieved everything without the help of blackmail, as if blackmail did not exist. Besides, seeing her in a short skirt is much less than Dylan has seen so far. It is true that after bikini-show or showing Dylan her tits, things did not progress much.
What I mean is, now that Sophia has shown off in class and in order for Dylan to gain something from his plan, Sophia has to go around the house less dressed. That's what Dylan expected, right? Because, so far, only Zac and his colleagues enjoy it.
What's in it for Dylan?
Once more unto the breach go I.

It's not that this situation is "complicated", it's that it is convoluted and filled with deeply flawed logic from Dylan but is also contradicted by other actions and moments with Dylan.

Granted a lot of this is down to player choice, but Dylan can be seen as a shy, insecure, naive teenager with a confused attraction to his own mother and who doesn't like other guys talking or thinking about his mother in a sexual way. He's therefore protective of her, either out of the expected unconditional love he has for his mother, or because of his growing sexual desires for her, or both. Therefore, putting his mother in a position where she could be exploited in order to exert emotional blackmail on her seems like it goes against everything we know about his character.

Even without the blackmail, we've seen that Sophia has grown comfortable doing things around him such as the bikini photoshoot, letting him masturbate to her body, seeing her in her underwear, etc, and all this can be done even without other external factors changing her like Ellie, Patricia, Sam, etc. So it would seem that he was doing just fine on his own since all Sophia needs is a few Filthy points to accept his advances more and more, and mostly all of this has been happening without the blackmail being too extreme and even by rejecting the blackmail. So why, therefore, would this blackmail be necessary if his progress with her is advancing fine without it?

Dylan doesn't necessarily have to take her on "dates" to "loosen" her up as she's been loosening up just fine without having to do that. As Lord_Xanatos pointed out, the bikini photoshoot is a prime example of how Dylan can shower Sophia with praises and compliments in a way that felt very natural and respectful towards her that can open her mind to being more sexual. Things like that are working to "loosen" her up, but Dylan could also employ emotional guilt tripping which is a lot less underhanded than emotional blackmail by an external force. It's about saying something like, "I hope you don't take offense, but you just don't seem as happy as you used to be. I miss that. I miss the Mom you used to be and it makes me upset to see you like this." It's about tugging on her heartstrings by making her think that her prudish behaviour is upsetting and hurting her family in much the same way that someone whose behaviour has gone a bit of the rails is appealed to to "bring back the old you" because their behaviour is upsetting and hurting their family. It's still manipulative, but it can be seen more as coming from a good place than staging a fake blackmail.

I appreciate that Dylan did not know what Aiden would do, but Dylan did essentially give free reign to someone who, even if he didn't know everything about how much of a rotten apple he is, is still someone that I'm sure Zac warned him could not be trusted. This is what gets to the convoulted part of all of this, because if Dylan believes his mother won't respond well to him requesting her to dress more scantily, what makes him think that a repugnant wannabe thug like Aiden will convince her to? There's a far greater chance of her refusing than accepting knowing the type of person his mother is, and whilst this does come down to player choice and Sophia finds a way to justify going this far for her son, Dylan is playing a very dangerous game. If she refuses, then there's every chance Aiden would spill the beans to her about his plan and any chance of progress with her would be gone because she would be so angry and upset that her son would think to put her through that. If she accepts, then not only does Dylan have no way of knowing what he'll do, but Aiden now also has Dylan by the balls because Aiden has leverage over him by threatening to tell Sophia it was all his idea and again ruining his progress and his intended goal.

The risks far outweigh the reward, especially when Dylan has people much closer to him who could help. He could speak to his Aunt Patricia about Sophia and about his concerns about her, and ask if she can help to "loosen" her up. He could even ask Amber, who's an old friend of hers, to help him as well, so there are far better and safer options than Aiden. This, combined with the progress he was already making independent of the blackmail, would surely have been more than enough to progress their relationship and whilst there might still be some manipulation there, it certainly would not nearly be as deviant, underhanded, and out of character as the fake blackmail is.
But it's one ear and out the other.

His game his rules. We may not always agree with him on certain aspects of the game but he is sticking to his vision of the game, right or wrong only time will tell.
And sometimes that vision can be flawed because creators often have blinders on and can't see where they're going wrong. It helps (or at least it should help) to have other voices enter the conversation to critique and provide feedback on a piece of work to iron out issues with it. Story writing is often a collaborative experience. Even some of the best storytellers had friends and colleagues look over their work as they went along and before publishing it to get their feedback. Creators should at least be able to take feedback even if they will ultimately ignore it, but dismissing it so boorishly is not a good look.

Granted, we are not privy to the details of how these things will ultimately unfold, but the conclusions that I see several people making, including myself, are based on what we have seen and what we know, so they're not entirely wrong. Dylan's actions are contradictory to his protective nature towards his mother, they are far more extreme than seems necessary given that he's making good progress without the blackmail really affecting Sophia, and it doesn't seem in his nature to be so underhanded in employing the aid of an untrustworthy and troublesome partner to achieve his goal.

L&P has said that they want to make a game that feels more realistic than other adult games, and speaking realistically, arranging a fake blackmail of your own mother so she'll wear more revealing clothing does not seem like something that a mother could easily forget or forgive. Therefore, realistically, there's no way Sophia should be able to forgive and forget this such that she will continue to develop a sexual relationship with him, and if she does, well then the realism is all but thrown out the window at that point.

This update lost a lot of realism points, and that's saying a lot given the events that can have transpired prior to this update aren't exactly 100% real-to-life. But even things like the various incestual encounters did feel real, like they perhaps could happen in the real world because so much solid groundwork had been laid to make you believe it. Sadly, this update did not feel like it continued to build upon that groundwork and instead skipped several steps and jumped the shark with the Dylan revelation.
