You have to download .115 and .130.

Then open both and allow access to files.

Then play all the way through .115

It's a little annoying though because you can't pick multiple save points. So depending on where you want to end up in .130 you might have to run through .115 several times.

I just finished .130 and I was locked out of a Dylan scene because I missed a scene in the previous version.

His english is good enough to speak and read. And definitely that makes him more adept than me at languages since I only know english really well, but he can speak english and german pretty much fluently.

Still his writing has either grammar issues, or the wrong use of a word sometimes. At other times it was the correct use of a word but it would be a word so rarely used? or rarely used in that context? that it made it sound or look weird... it didn't sound like something a person would naturally say when speaking etc. can't remember specific examples because i deleted our discord conversations.

I can totally see this. He's clearly a guy with a strong formal education in English, but the writing screws him up. As I said in my review (about 24 hours ago, and 1,000 posts ago) the dialog and translation felt very stiff/formal. When I localize for other developers, this is a common problem and I can understand why. But L&P takes it to another level because I totally noticed him correctly using a couple VERY advanced words/phrases that I had to actually look up. I mentioned that I was torn by this because on one hand it's super impressive to see that kind of dedication, but on the other it was so formal as to make reading the dialog not fun.

In 0.130 this is most clearly shown in the art modeling scene. The dialog from Xavier, especially while modeling, is very very advanced. On one hand this makes sense because he's a teacher with advanced training in classical art. But on the other hand, the dialog was so dense that even I, someone who takes the time to read everything, struggled to follow it at times. And...it...just...kept...going. Any writer, in any profession, needs to keep their audience in mind when writing. This can be difficult when you need to convey complicated ideas, but it's important to do so. In America that means to write at a ~7th grade reading level (higher or lower depending on your region). But during the art modeling scene, the dialog was a mixture of advanced English, and poor translation, so it was difficult to follow without re-reading the lines.

That must have been a very, VERY, difficult scene for everyone involved in the translation/localization.

If he keeps increasing branches and not closing any, eventually will make development times impossible. Added to the problem the VN is getting heavier in bytes each update. The renpy is not like a real game engine where once you have the meshes uploaded you can call them on and on to do different stuff for the same cost in bytes. For me this upgrade v13 had nothing playable since I follow a lesbian path.

I think that problem generally arises at around 10 GB plus files. AWAM is only at 5.2.
Recently DM had to break episode 2 into a new part because the engine wasn't able to handle it but his game size was around 10.22 GB . L&P can easily expand on it for another 6-7 playable days. Then make an Episode 2 and create a questionnaire of sorts at the beginning regarding key choices for selecting the routes.

I think he thinks this mirror management is important for the translation. Just like with his pictures where he wants to pay attention to every detail. And I think it is sometimes difficult for him to find the right words in the translation (also to invent) to convey the mood / emotion he has in mind for this scene. It's likely a "two steps forward, then one step back" process. And why he has a hard time working with someone. What we are part of here is a creative process. You may or may not like that and be frustrated about it, but you shouldn't judge the developer for it. It is his way of working and it is sure to drive others insane (it definitely is here on this forum).

To say something like that I'd have to meet him in person. There are comments that suggest he's a young person, so I'm honestly not buying it.
All I read can be paragraphs from art criticism books, biology for dummies, learn to play the guitar in 10 days and all sorts of sources. It's enough to have access to a public library in a city, by the way the library in Düsseldorf I know and guarantees a proper supply on all subjects.

How can you talk about advanced English and at the same time poor translation. It would be explained when you copy whole paragraphs in English and then try to put together an intelligible sentence with those paragraphs.

I can respect that certain people enjoy a large amount of text to engage them and tease them, but my god, there comes a point when it’s way too much. We came to watch dicks getting sucked and Sophia getting fucked, not learn about cervix and foreskin or art techniques and Gods. Text translations evidently take lots and lots of time but so much of the text doesn’t seem relevant and I just skip through to the ‘good bits’. I don’t need L&P’s sex education or learn how to use a paint brush. I need scenes with sex. Why does Sophia say about 200 words when she’s about to make one filthy or good wife decision. By now people playing the game know the consequences of the actions they pick later on. Fuck me!

I have never come across a forum with so much toxicity and negativity.

There are games on here that have beastiality, scatophilia etc and people who are not into them don't call the Dev names or insult him, they just leave the game alone and move on to things they like. Similarly if this game's Dev or the game itself is not good in your eyes. You yourself call this a trashy porn game not worth the time then why not just leave the thread.
