Update end of Oct/early Nov? Really, could it be true? Too good to be true? If it is, what's been edited out? There's such a choice of what should go in the short-term but I'm not going to suggest it all again. I've been talking recently about a radical rethink. When business prospects appear not to be sustainable in the long-term, that often happens. Sometimes plans are laid & implemented. Sometimes they work.....to an extent.

Why not get rid of everything except the incest? Then I could cheerfully stop playing & so could many others. There would still be enough paying patrons to sustain AWAM for years. Even Dylan's turgid but over-inflated story could move at a faster (by L&P standards) pace. Let incest be unbounded. That's the answer & don't forget to make Dylan an official 2nd MC. That could be the radical overhaul the VN needs. Isn't that what the inclusion of the word "Mother" in the game title was for?

Even this thread could become shorter & faster. Basically it could reduce down to, 'which of my children will be first, or will it be my sister?' Why not make that a subtitle & it could attract a horde of new fans to more than make up for those who've left? In fact why not make the tits even bigger & have some icing on the cake? Huge breasts are inextricably linked to incest fantasies & another increase would send a powerful signal to fans of all preferences.

I've mistakenly made suggestions in the past while thinking of the existing fanbase, (as far as I thought I knew it) but that fanbase has changed over the years. An obvious solution to the longevity & speed issues is to focus on the core of the business/VN, which is now undoubtedly incest & ditch the rest, as redundant.

Feel free to make a better game

Considering that he has 25% more to go on both CS and Rendering, and It usually takes him about two to three weeks to code, I would probably say that Mid-November is the best-case scenario right now. Unless he manages to complete CS and Rendering (100%) by the end of the first week in October, that is the only way I see this coming out by the end of October.

And don't forget Decision of Life it is to see if he outsources the update of DoL like last time.

Just to bring up a new old topic, this one should also be the last update of "Part 1" and from the next one he said he will (try to) introduce the automatic download system so that you only need to download the new content. I wonder if he has not already started working on that at this time (not for 0.150, but for after) or he already found someone to prepare that for the release after 0.150. I'm not a Renpy expert but I guess it's not a trivial move from a technical point of view, especially if he wants to have some control over it like managing accounts and/or basically put everything behind a paywall like some other games are doing (e.g. Hotwife Ashley).

I don't know if there are off-the-shelf solutions for that in renpy but the risk of slowing down even more the production is not neglectable IMO. Anyone here has an insight into the technical aspects and difficulties to do something like that?
