Dev mentioned it just took 1 month to almost Complete this update, and he worked 4-5 month on those 15-20 sec animations which personally skipped!
please don't push Dev for making animation, in this game every 5 sec animation will take 1 month time for him, unless you are vampire or witch or some kind of immortal being who has different sense of time!

Wow, just wow. All I can say is that this was one of the most underwhelming, uninspired updates I've played in a while, not just in this game. Hopefully the patron community will demand some kind of changes. A focus on realism is not an excuse to make such minimal content.

The most frustrating part is that this game has the potential to be one of the best if not the best adult game.

Edit: Seeing that some people prefer actual saves, here you go. So you have:

• The pdf guide showing where each save comes from.
• The set of saves from 0.150.
• A final save from 0.150 (generated at the end of Page 3 [2,2] #10A2 from the pdf).
• A couple native saves from 0.160 following this path.

I'm not sure to understand what you did. You talk about "game" subfolder. That's not reassuring because there is nothing to put in the folder named "game".
Do you see the correct background image in AWAM1 (with "Part I")?

How to transfer your saves from Part 1 to Part 2

1/ You must update AWAM Part 1 to its last version.
a) You can download the full game (from here)
b) Or just apply a on your existing AWAM1 0.150 install. This patch must be placed in <AWAM1 folder>, where you see:
(Mac users should only use the patch. It includes a fix specific to Mac)

Hi Sorry I thought my message was clear. But in case it was nt clear, I have above quoted the first part of your previous post from yesterday which instructions I was following (and thanks for taking the time to explain all that as it was highly confusing).

I have got as far as seeing the exact image in the quote above, so I see in my V0.150 that it says by the red arrow "PART 1" highlighted, so it appeared to have worked.....


However I DONT get to see the following image that you linked in your previous post:

"After seeing "End of part 1", you will be asked to generate a final save:

So something has not worked for me.....

One tip that I can give people about transferring saves that tripped me up and made me feel like a dumb ass. I followed all the instructions but still couldn't understand why I couldn't find a save to load. As it happens you don't try to load a save. After you transfer over the finalsaves folder from the game folder of version 1 to part 2 you just hit start game. I was carrying around the idiot ball today, friend and neighbors.

Did not work for me. Updates crash the game. Whole thing is borked. If I want to continue I will have to start over. Not sure its worth the effort to be honest. So much time wasted because of the dev. Its a shame really. This "was" on my top ten list of best games playing/played. Now its just filler for the recycle bin.

Give me more info if you want more help. You play on which OS? Can you screenshot the error?

Does anyone now what the overall reaction of the patreons to this last update? has he gotten good revies or not? they liked the animations?
i have defended L&P some times in the past, but i didnt liked this update, i did liked the animations, i thought they were actually quite good, while the animations are definetely not the best in the business, it is unfair that some of you called it trash, they were far better than the preview we first saw, however they are reaaaally short 1 or 2 seconds max, and i would rather they were cut off the game completely or only be used for Sofia and no one else, if they are going to take so much time to make. to consider these were two updates, the 1.55 and 1.60 both of them were very, very short the only thing that got me going a little was Aiden 4 task, i couldnt believe that Sofia actually pulls up her skirt and that flashes Zac, those scenes were waaaaaay to short, i know those event were suppoused to last a few seconds at most so it makes sense they are short, but L&P could have made them seem they were longer by going more into Sofia's (also zac was possible) and giving us more of what was going trough her mind, and how she felt

Ok, finished my playthrough and here are my thoughts.

• As expected, nothing could make the five month development worth it.
• Putting aside the long development cycle, this update is still very uneven.
• The update starts off strong, but it quickly feels sloppy and rushed
• Task 4- I mostly liked this, but it wasn't smooth. I liked that L&P has firmly established that this is blackmail, that Sophia can't stand Aiden, and that she isn't excited (yet) for the tasks.
  • While I enjoyed the visual pleasure of task 4, the moment that Sophia exposed her underwear to the class felt very sophomoric by the standards of the game. Look, a skirt that tight doesn't easily ride up that high. It wouldn't be possible to play that off as an accident. I know Daz and skirt assets are a limiting factor here, but I would have structured the scene differently. As it stands, I felt like the image of Sophia standing before the class with her skirt up was a jumping the shark moment.
  • I really liked the interaction with Zach.
  • I really liked that Sophia slapped the shit out of Andre.
• Bonus Event Threesome- This really left a bad taste in my mouth
  • I really don't like that the entire structure. It felt like L&P wanted a sex scene, and this was the best he could do.
  • It's a shame that he couldn't even make it 100% consensual, and instead leaned into another coercion/blackmail story.
  • He does do a good job of really hammering home that Aiden and Andre are terrible people.
  • Some of the animations are really nice! Most are simply "fine". None of them were worth the wait.
  • Hopefully the choice to intervene does something in the future.
• Ellie and Dylan scenes
  • These were actually pretty nice, but it all felt very linear. I'm sure that will be fleshed out in the future, but there were too many "game over" options for my liking.
  • The drift towards multiple MCs continues. Now you even get the option to make choices for Ellie.
  • I like the Dylan/Christina dynamic.
  • The Forgive/Don't Forgive option looms large. It's going to further complicate this story and development.
• Miscellaneous thoughts
  • I felt like the connective tissue within scenes was weaker than normal. I suspect that the attention paid to the animations left little time for fleshing out some of the scenes with extra renders. IMO this is a net negative for the whole game.
  • Don't get me wrong, L&P has historically gone TOO FAR in the other direction with too many superfluous renders. I don't mind him cutting the superfluous renders, but I do mind him cutting them and replacing them with superfluous animations.
  • And speaking of superfluous animations, did we really need like 20 different camera angles?
  • Instead, I would have spent more time and renders for the options that otherwise lead directly to game over.
  • Lastly, why on Earth would Sophia go home and change into something so cute/flirtatious when she's going to meet Aiden. Look, I like eye candy too, but if I'm meeting a guy I hate you can bet I'm wearing some ratty hoodie.

So, to summarize (sort of mixing my thoughts and what I find more relevant from yours):

• Aiden's 4th task is good. As usual, he takes things one step further than expected and we can see how hot the result is but, on the contrary to what you said, Sophia recognized that she had actually enjoyed the task (we can certainly see how corrupted she is at this point). However there are a couple things that make no sense here:
  • Aiden's becoming too important in the story, way more than Patricia, which makes no sense. I understand patrons are probably asking for more tasks but, like it or not, this path is starting to be out of place.
  • It turns out that Sophia doesn't want Dylan to have to deal with Aiden not even with the help of his friends from the soccer team (I think he said that himself) but she allowed him to fight an adult in the previous update like it was nothing..
  • Based on how fast the sex part of the tasks is escalating, within the next few tasks we should end up seeing HJ/fingering/BJ and eventually penetrations. Is L&P going to turn Sophia into a slut/whore? Just having the chance to do that would be really disappointing, that would make AWAM a porn game and it doesn't feel like that.
• Reducing the amount of renders is good knowing where the main problem of the game is (we all know). In some aspects I've noticed some similarities with the first updates of the game when L&P wasn't so focused on secondary details and there were faster transitions.
• Animations are good but should be used in the right place. The 3some was only a way to add sex in order to keep people happy but at the cost of quite some effort as many renders were necessary to create these animations.
• Leaving all the previous stuff away, the size of the updates is going to be reasonable from now on, although this change from part 1 to part 2 is a little confusing at first.
• For some reason L&P keeps trying to open paths.. Why should we even have the choice to forgive Logan? Either Ellie forgives him or not depending of the story, period.
• As time passes I feel more and more convinced that at the end of the game (in 20 years time more or less) we'll see a final dual incest 3some where Dylan will take Ellie's virginity.
• Like it or not, v0.160 isn't far from a normal update in terms of size (maybe a bit smaller than 0.150 IIRC) and has also taken the usual time to be released so.. I guess you know what I mean, more fancy stuff (including the gallery, which is really welcome) but it looks like L&P is still going to take more than 1 year to move the story 1 day ahead . So welcome to the new AWAM.
