The last update for PD 12 got released on November the 20th 2021 and the next update will be part 5 out of 11 for PD 13.
A different way to view it is that he is 10 months into the development of PD 13 and he isn't even halfway there so around 20 months for PD 13 is far more realistic.

More that not being part of the main storyline, there aren't many variations that will need testing. It's not like whether Dylan is going to boarding school or not makes any difference, or whether you played the Antonio scene or the Ellie/Jules scene.

Just whether or not Sophia is teaching the boys sex ed.
