You should not compare his revenue with the revenue of DoD & DmD now but with the revenue of those games in their first 2 months. People are always hesitant to pledge to a creator who has not proven yet they can perform for a longer period of time so the first few months are always rough for developers. In general developers who exist longer make more money.

I would say L&P does very well for a dev who has only released one update yet, I doubt you can show me many other devs who make/made more after only releasing the first version of a game.

On one thing you're right - he should have the son rape his mother while she sleeps if he wants to make bank. Hopefully reaching the top developers is not his primary goal.

I am comparing them with those games in their first months and both games blew this one the fuck out.

I guess him and his little fan girls can just stay mad over that fact

Im more worried that he will start missing deadlines that he himself has set, because everything should be so perfect and by update 0.5 he realises how much work it is and abandons it

We will just have to wait and see but I see no reason to assume he will abandon the game. I agree being a perfectionist can be a curse and some developers want to much in too little time and overload themselves until they will suffer the consequences so let's hope that does not happen here. Still I think being a perfectionist and striving to make the best product you possibly can are very good qualities for an artist to have so I am glad L&A seems to try to push himself to be the best for our enjoyment :happyblush

I also see no reason to worry about L&A right now as it's probably one of the fastest growing games on Patreon right now. Comparison to DMD or DoD is kinda wrong as those were created when market was basically empty when it comes to VNs with such a themes. Among biggest devs BB and SS would still achieve its success easily due to its gameplay features but DoD and DMD would most likely fail to reach even half of their audience as they're just nothing special now (their early versions were much weaker than many of the new VNs. L&A is one of them). I can't wait for new versions and see development of this game

Funny that he says that he won't get over 2k yet Dual Family gets like 9k per month. People do value good writing, even if Dual Family seems to be declining in quality.

I swear, some people can't comprehend how other people might not enjoy mediocre and creepy porn, and when they get caught they almost always go with the "well enjoy not making money" trope. Besides being an obvious lie, it shows such a desperation for shitty games that they want to make every game as shitty. No diversity allowed.

A LOOOT of text to read and even if I like good background stories and slow progression ... it was to much to read.

But I like the story :cool:
Average american gazillionaire family moves to their new villa, meets against all odds friends and family next door and the bitching females of the family making mountains out of every molehill. It will be so much fun to corrupt mum and sis :heartcoveredeyes: Hope very much that will advance slooowly (nearly all games are in rush to sex and instant corruption ... no need for one more).
