I'm not usually the guy to talk about update lengths and all that shit, but this last update was kinda pathethic even to me. 3 months for that is kinda crazy. but if the patreons are content, then my opinion doesn't really matter. just feels like the updates are getting shorter, instead of the other way around, which is illogical. you would think that the team would get used to the development process and the tools and it would make the process faster because of it, not the other way around. weird situations

Not just the last update, it's always been like that. It's a shame really, because otherwise the game is really great.

Erotica & slow burn were amongst the attractions when I started playing this in 2018. They are rare in a 3D game context & therefore all the more welcome to those, like me, who began to get bored with senseless porn years ago. Much of it is just rubbish. It's not worth time, effort or cash.

Wishing for these elements to continue doesn't constitute a defence of the Dev & given the pace of development he's chosen, I'd suggest it's far from hilarious. As for realism, that was ditched years ago. There was no announcement but it just evaporated gradually like morning dew.

Even those defending the situation aren't necessarily pleased with how AWAM has continuously slowed down for several years.

Things will never change so long as there is a steady income stream on Patreon. Patrons rightly contend that without their support there would be no game to complain about. Presumably a majority are happy with AWAM being due to finish in the 2050s? If each event is to take 2 & 2 thirds of a month to complete, as planned for the next update, even the 2050s might be too optimistic.
Let me rephrase my comment. I have absolutely zero problems with the game being erotica, slow burn etc. What I find stupid is that several members here use the term to defend the painstakingly slow progress of the game. It's obvious that dev is milking this game to the fullest, setting it up as his pension fund. That's the issue I'm talking about. Many here like the story, many don't which is perfectly fine, I personally keep a neutral view so that's not an issue for me. As you may have noticed, majority of people on this forum are criticizing dev for the slow progress and not the story of the game itself. But then some moron comes out and say, "hey you didn't pay for it so you don't get to have an opinion" and that's what i was trying to convey.

GFG. Youre new on this thread. Ill give you less that two years and your opinion will change. Drastically. While then, you should up your subscriptions.
I play the game since 2019. Not new at all. And I love it like this because I hate stupid low quality games. I am convinced and satisfied that this is an erotic slowly building drama.

It's just funny when someone who is not financially supporting the game complains about "milking" when others who are financially supporting the game are not. It's OK for people playing them game to complain about the slow progress, but if you're not contributing financially, then your opinion on "milking" is irrelevant. Besides, from the numbers it doesn't look like L&P is raking money in hand over fist with this title. Given the amount of work involved, I think he's undercompensated.

Yet again the “you have no say if you don’t pay” argument.

Curious to what you think of patreons having their comments deleted.

Ancora una volta l'argomento “non hai voce in capitolo se non paghi”.

Curioso di sapere cosa ne pensi dei patreon che hanno cancellato i loro commenti.
[/CITAZIONE]
the argument "if you don't pay you can't criticize" seems sacrosanct to me. We're talking about a commercial product, I think..

No, he didn't write it that way. He referred directly to the accusation of "milking". If I complain about "milking" as someone who has never supported the game, it's just ridiculous. The post wasn't saying that you can't express your opinion, it was just pointing out how "carelessly" some here share their opinion, forgetting that their point of view, in this case, is at least questionable and open to attack.

Still, it is necessary not only to speak out yourself, but also to try to hear others.
And it's not just about this game.

Have you considered how many of those active on the forum are former supporters who quit supporting AWAM due to the Very slow progress, failure to build the team to increase development speed (repeatedly promised and never delivered); choice to move the goal posts repeatedly (how much money/number of supporters required to meet the next goal published on Patreon/SS)?

I was a supporter until this month. I can tell you he deletes comments or simply is too 'busy' to address supporter concerns about development speed.

After Years of milking, I just got tired of it and stopped supporting him.

If you want to support him, and everything he promises and does not deliver, that is your right.

Everyone has the right to comment on any creator. For ex., I did not like how long it took George RR Martin to write the latest book in GOT. I stopped buying his books due to the length of time between books and how it was getting worse. I'm not saying my choice to stop buying his books influenced his writing habits any more than my choice to stop supporting L&P will cause him the loss of sleep wondering about where his next meal is coming from.

I Am saying I have the right to comment on the difference between the words L&P uses - like commitments to build a team - and the actions we see/don't see.

It's called talking the talk versus walking the walk.

Each of us has a choice and it's wonderful. Of course, anyone can comment and has the right to criticize. You can talk about milking because you provided him with financial support.
But when only those who have never paid talk about milking, I personally think it is wrong.

There was a picture with the previous and next days of the update with a description of the event. What will happen in the next update, what to expect, or you can link to that picture.
