There's your problem, you leave investors with a picture every two weeks and that's it. Satisfied fans, I don't understand the truth about the fanatical sponsors of this game, since they are putting money for its progress. I am also a true fan of this game. I also say it, it is rather the mentality of the creator, like: ok, keep going, my community, I'm going today. to give them something so that they continue paying... the way he does his job is very far from putting the fans' teeth in my humble opinion.

If this was a true "Porn Game" they would all have had sex in the airplane., with the pilot, attendants and other passengers.
I dislike the "It a porn game" excuse.
This is very akin to the Language excuse used in movies, "we are depicting real life and people swear" cut to main character falling 5 floors and getting up without a scratch. "Its just a movie!"
The 'Excuse' is a lazy way to justify whatever is being called into question.

The only saving grace is Sophia has not changed that much since the...uhh....umm. "Its just a 3d model!"
L&P promised a slow burn game, and that's obviously what AWAM has become. In my opinion, to a degree that is already too extreme for a porn game (also also because it took years until finally the mid-game was actually reached), but this can be argued about.

Anyway, at some point, even a slow burn story has to pick up speed and make real progress. For this progress, the categorisation as a porn game is not an excuse but rather reflects the objective. It was clear from the start that Sophia would have to start reducing her restraint and start so action. Not from the very beginning (because it is a slow burn game), but certainly also not never. Also, It is important to realise that virtually nothing has happened so far. The whole game has only just reached a level between a hand job and a blow job. Compared to the mass of games here, that is almost nothing in progress.

The point is, even with AWAM as a slow burn porn game, AWAM is still a porn game. If you imagined something different, it's not L&P's fault, but your own. Therefore, nobody here has to apologise for AWAM for being a porn game. Instead, AWAM beeing a porn game and is a good thing. :) The fact that real progress is finally being made is not a problem, but a more than overdue necessity. :) AWAM is a porn game and as all porn games, there is sexual action. It's really not difficult to understand, I think.

This is what he says on his Patreon page about his game, I couldn’t even get to the end from laughing my balls off too much :ROFLMAO: (especially that last sentence first of hopefully many more games) yeah right, he’ll be lucky if he completes this one

Hey guys and welcome to my Patreon page!

After seeing so many lower-quality adult games, where the primary goal is to show as much skin or as many h scenes as possible right from the beginning, without any good story or character development (and not even good or authentic renders!)! So, I've decided to develop my own ambitious, realistic, detail-oriented, quality-focused adult game, which has become like a little obsession to me- the current game (vers. 0.195) has already 13.972 fully designed, very detailed and staged, ambitious renders! In other words: I'm trying to fuse art and eroticism, combined with a slowly developing story full of lust and passion, to create an aesthetic, realistic adult game. This is my first game of hopefully many more.

He lost a lot of paid members
As he should. This is the game you love to hate ! THe success is wrapped around the Fan Art and those that make them. Then everyone talks about how that should be part of his game.... But never is....
For the past almost 7 years he's lost alot of subscribers at the beginning of every single month. That applies to pretty much every creator on Patreon. Reason for that is the billing cycle, as many subscribers drop out at the 1st of a new month. Got nothing to do with losing supporters, and numbers will recover over the next weeks.

Besides, L&P's patron count is always going down after a release, as naturally many people will wait for a release month before subscribing again. Which is the smart thing to do, especially with developers who need another 40 years to complete their games. But there's obviously the core supporters who stay subscribed even during the several months without a release.

It's just how Patreon works unless the creator decides to pick a different billing option (which is rather new'ish I believe).

Wow, he actually hit an all-time high in January. But yeah, it's amazing to see how many people misread the stats. The best analysis of L&P's support is that it's been steady for the last 12+ months. There's really no evidence that he's losing support. Now, I would argue that it's suspicious how extremely consistent his month to month support is, but that's another story.

If changing Sophia's model doesn't damage his support, then nothing will. Many of us have said it for years now, but he's big enough that it would take a complete collapse for support to drop in a meaningful way.
