It always increases like this during a release. You need to pay attention to the 1st of Dec. to see how many people stayed and how many unsubbed. That will be the correction point.

I know nothing about the developer nor if its just one guy or many. However if the developer is just one person then the delay in updates is understandable provided he or she has a steady job. But considering how much money they make from patron alone you could say that this is their job. The last few updates in my personal opinion were not long enough. My last save file was from march of this year. I finished this update in half an hour give or take a few minutes. I think the developer should either focus on more steady updates (once per month) or a few updates per year (one per season) with it full day completed. Either way we should be getting at least 4 playable days per year. Another fact. This "game" is quite popular and the developer has a steady fan base here and on patreon. If I were them I would finish this project as quickly as possible and move on to the next. I understand that there is the possibility that the fans might go away but you have to strike the iron when it's hot. Hell they could continue in the same universe, take some of the minor characters and focus on them. I just feel that this game has been going on for so long and we are still not anywhere near the end. Hell we are not even at the middle yet from what I've seen through the pages from other posters. A lot of anons are saying that the developer is milking his subscribers. I would agree with that. In the end they are the ones who should complain for the lack of updates. We (the ones here who get this shit for free) don't have that right. I just hope there is something that resolves this issue. I'm going to be an old man before day 30 arrives.

This is a cop out. By L&P's own standards, this update had poor writing. Is it better than most porn games? Yes. Does that matter? No, because that isn't the standard that was set. L&P wants to create something great, something more than just a porn game, and with that comes raised expectations. This is especially true considering the length of time for development and in particular the length of time it takes to go through translation. Yes, English is a difficult language, but typos are inexcusable because they're easy to catch. Not catching them is simply sloppy. It's more difficult to get the localization and syntax correct, but it isn't as though L&P doesn't have the offers for help, or the resources to get the help. He certainly takes long enough to translate the scripts. To have such a muddled script shouldn't be hand waved away. It is absolutely misguided to say that he can't be criticized over his writing just because English isn't his first language. No one asked him to create a complicated narrative in a foreign language. He's the one that doesn't seem to want to get the help necessary to make his writing better. If he wants to make a story-driven game that leans on eroticism rather than hardcore pornography, then it's his responsibility to produce a well written script. Could I write a script in German? No, but that doesn't mean that any criticism of his writing is invalid. If I tried to write a story based game in German, and my German sucked, then I would deserve criticism.

I pointed out the need for a second language because unlike your own language, which you "feel", the second language you learn and memorize its "logic".
Now, it depends on how often you use it and how many other things you learn in the meantime. Because things get forgotten.

Nobody forces you to use English, but there is no other option because of assets and because of the wider use of English.
So, you have an advantage as a native speaker but you have to pay a price, the price of a less polished English from others.

On the other hand, you can rewrite the dialogues and change them to your liking. I can show you how to do it. That would be a pleasure
