I don't think this is an entirely fair criticism though - we have to acknowledge that very few story-lines are allowed to reference each other.
If sophia is getting felt up by Dylan and thinking about how "This is okay because I was already felt up today by Zac, Andre, the Myers Boys and Sam" but you're not playing any of those paths then it would be pretty jarring.
Don't get me wrong I'm all for criticising the developer's strange choices, but compartmentalizing story-lines is pretty low on my list, at least when compared to the 40 Year Development Schedule.
I've seen VNs that do a much better job at acknowledging past events, minor dialogue differences that trigger depending on previous choices.
AWAM seems wholly unaware of anything that happened outside the current scene, maybe the previous scene with the particular character involved in it, but nothing of what Sophia has been up to lately.
It's not helped by the fact that progression is more or less linear and kept on par between the different characters, so depending on how you play Sophia may end up flashing her tits 50 times in a day and somehow surprised each time that she finds this exciting.
If LP doesn't learn how to do path/dialogue flags it's gonna be even worst in 25 years when she's giving blowjobs to each guy that passes her by in the street and that keeps surprising her....
Also i'd like to point out that i called this thing "silly" not "the worst" aspect of AWAM.
But yeah, it's silly, a little stupid, unintentionally funny right now... it can get worst when/if the sex acts start to scale up.
