From what you write, you have never had a steady girlfriend and/or have never made such a stupid decision to cheat on her.
Because the pangs of conscience and feelings of guilt don't go away, even if you've fucked your lover umpteen times. Only psychopaths are so emotionally uninvolved.
It's not that L&P doesn't find the taboo-breaking in Sophia's inner monologues arousing, but it's only natural that thoughts that testify to feelings of guilt keep cropping up.
Her domestic situation in particular, with two children and a husband who isn't an asshole but is simply too carefree and is currently riding a wave of success, would not make it credible if Sophia, after 14 virtual game days, lacks any feeling of guilt.

But it should also be mentioned that what you are criticizing is caused by the fact that there are so many individual routes that apparently have nothing to do with each other, and that's why Sophia's inner monologues and feelings of guilt feel like endless repetitions. But this is just bad writing by the author.
Well, I understand your point and no I never had a girlfriend but I do have a common sense(not criticizing you here but you are playing it as erotica and I consider it a porn game) to differentiate b/w a "porn game/VN" and real life. As much as L&P moans about realism in his game amply supported by his staunch supporters, it should be understandable that realism and porn don't go hand in hand. No one with a conscience or common sense would end up naked in a shower with someone's else's boyfriend and give them a HJ in just their second meet up. Had it been a movie I would have had no complaints about Sophia having guilt about her actions. As you said, there are too many individual characters with whom Sophia interacts and her constant nagging about feeling guilty feel like repeating the same thing again and again.

Her domestic situation in particular, with two children and a husband who isn't an asshole but is simply too carefree and is currently riding a wave of success, would not make it credible if Sophia, after 14 virtual game days, lacks any feeling of guilt.
As I have said before, porn and realism don't go hand in hand. If we go by initial days of this game, Sophia is in a happy marriage and has little to no complaints but still she is currently giving HJs to complete strangers ON 14TH VIRTUAL DAY IN THE GAME. So how exactly is it realistic? If you have ever moved cities, you would know that weeks fly by before people have a chance to settle down and completely unpack things and yet Sophia seems to have made connections, getting harassed, getting blackmailed, going from a complete nun to being on the path of becoming a slut, all within the span of 14 days. You can't have it both ways. If you treat this game/VN as realistic then this is a major flaw.

All I am saying is that your and mine perspective differ mainly due to how we treat this project. You treat it as erotica where slow burn and realism works perfectly fine. I treat it as a porn game which has no place for realism.
