Like ViperDonkey said, I don't see why L&P would use a second, weaker computer to render scenes he can easily render over night on his main rig via batch rendering, which is also basically twice as powerful if he's really using 2x3090's on the main rig, and 1x3090 on the other. It's also news to me that L&P apparently has a second computer in use for this project(?). That would maybe make sense if he were to produce hundreds of renders per day, to a point where the main rig wouldn't be able to render everything fast enough over night before L&P starts working again. I assume there are other reasons to use multiple rigs, possibly animations or something like that? But I've never spend a single minute in DAZ, PS or anything required for a project like this one, so I've honestly no clue.

Anyway, from what I understand, if a render would turn out to be bad he'd check them the next day anyway and can adjust them right then and there, or right after the next couple scenes he's planned for the day. After that, batch render everything he's worked on. Rinse and repeat. No need for a second computer, unless I'm really missing something here. It's not like he can adjust or work on multiple scenes at the same time anyway, even if he were to use 10 computers. And I also don't see how a second rig would save him any time as he just keeps working on scenes until his "workday" is over. Which is when he starts the batch rendering again. A completely automated process that's best done over night, or whenever he's not on his computer doing whatever(from what I understand).

Regarding the 2nd rig. If he would just base it on time, it can make sense if bridging to a farm takes longer than opening the file on another pc in a shared folder.

the thing is.. why would have a 2nd pc just to render when at least 8h of the day you're just not there on the computer? Just leave it batch rendering and that's it.

The point (no pun intended) is a male LI. They are all meh (Seriously meh) at best. Though there is always room for the Governor to commute Larry's sentence and that at least provides Sophia an option. :giggle:
Honestly, I think Liam is a decent looking guy for a porn game. He's flawed, but not an abusive asshole, he isn't cheating, he isn't disinterested in his wife, and he feels like a fully fleshed out character. Even though his gambling problem is severe, he's a hardworking man who just took a big job and wants to do well at it. By porn game standards he's a great catch.

I just see he is dodging his Dad responsibilities. He keeps avoiding them. Does he know Dylan plays soccer? Is he aware of the stresses Ellie is going through? What is he doing to be there for them? Nada!

Is he the best of the lot? Probably. Does he still get a meh. Yup! IMO. Though this is probably not a realistic thought for a porn game.

It's been two or three weeks. Much has been made about Liam blowing off the kids but we've seen their relationship over the course of two or three weeks. We don't have any information on what he was like before the move, but I'm not comfortable condemning a man as a "bad father" because for the last three weeks he's been focused on his new job. Millions of good people every year take new jobs, and for a short time afterwards they need to focus on it until they get their feet under them. Liam and family just moved across the country for this job, I'll cut him some slack.

It all goes back to the narrow time window we have to work with. Thirty playable days is simply not enough time to really develop these characters and their relationships without using time jumps. If we had seen Liam ignore/neglect his kids for months over 12 playable days, I'd be more critical of him. But the guy is under the gun at his new job and has had only like 10 days in the office so far- so yeah, his attention is going to be split right now.

That to me is the problem of AWAM compared to other games / VN. There is not one good-looking well-written adult male that, if Sophia left Liam, would be an ideal long term LI / future mate. I was briefly hopeful of Don Morello but we have been told in game that he is happily married and gather from L&P that he is not doing the seemingly obvious "Indecent Proposal" route. Maybe that might change in the future....

So I am left currently enjoying the lesbian scenes (which are IMO the hottest scenes we have had so far in AWAM), whilst fantasising about future soccer team action.
Your dissapointment is understandable, but it is simply not a game like that.

It is not dating sim game, with a goal of building a happy fullfilling relationship, but a corruption game, where you see a woman in simingly fullfilling relationship and life status, go wild, have that life changed compleatly, and stumble into more and more debauchery.
It is a lot nicer, more realistic and tactfull that some other havy handed games of this genre, where the Main Heroine ends up fucking everyone and their dogs few seconds after meeting them, but it is in the same genre.

Anyway - the goal of the game isn't to choose a new - better path of life for Sophia, but to see her succumb to all sort of new pleasures, to make bad and immoral things, and enjoy it.
As is the player ;-)

I guess it will be up to you - the player - how you handle her moral descend, and if you will keep her sins in moderate range or not ;-) (I'd say she allready is a criminal ofender, didling her own daughter and underage boys and girls ;p )

And a well written, attractive, male character would hurt this? A woman succumbing to corruption (in part) because of a well written male character that she could (mistakenly) see a future with wouldn't work?

Absolutely true. The small window. That is all I base my view on. I got no background other than what Mr Lucas, I mean L&P presents to us. Maybe he does have Daddy issues also? Noooooo!
