I really appreciate your insightful perspective. L&P is definitely breaking his story down into acts. From what I can glean from the story so far I strongly believe he is using the classic Three-Act method of story telling. Act I (the set up), Act II (the journey) and Act III (what happens upon reaching the destination). I still maintain that L&P used the metaphor of Sophia getting on Aiden's motorcycle as the beginning of the journey, and making the transition from Act I to Act II.
In classic story telling the protagonist needs to encounter obstacles in the way along the journey during Act II if the presentation is to remain engaging (essentially, a good story). It remains to be seen if L&P has the writing chops to present a good, or great story (as he is aspiring for) over the course of Act II. If Sophia has to sneak, orchestrate and maneuver to avoid unwanted consequence on her journey I will be impressed (and a bit surprised). Doing this will allow him to dispel the current impression that his writing does not live up to his talent for the visual presentation. Only time will tell.
and 20 days to complete it so I guess he wont be able to keep up that amazin pace of 2 pages a day and we're going for 1.X pages a day

The Pledge
L&P showed us something ordinary, a Porn VN, asking us to pledge to further its development.
The Turn
He then turned it into some beautifully rendered VN, which made us pledge even more.
The Prestige
That's when he eventually abandons and leaves you with some prestigious blue balls.

It had to be done sometime, and it has long been requested by patrons. Doing it later would just delay the next release. Just do it now and be done with it.

He may have gotten that idea from your post. This is why i tell people not to give Devs any ideas, unless it's about upping the hot scenes.

I don't think you're wrong, but the intent behind a Gallery Mode seems pretty straight forward -
With the next update (and the start of Part 2) he'll be splitting off into a new game file and saving space by not including any renders/scenes from the first 12 days.
A Gallery mode puts a nice bow on Part 1, anyone wishing to revisit it in the years to come won't need to rely on old saves or have to churn through the whole 12 days just to get to that one scene they wanna Fap to.
I think It is a good implementation since a lot of us will know what scene is still unlocked and I am more into completion rate. By Adding this to the game, it will be a lot of useful especially for supporter
