I know I'm in the minority here.
But I feel like I shouldn't have to download a patch, because the dev took the time to write the game twice to accommodate incest, just so they can keep making the kind of money you can only get on Patreon. If the game NEEDS the patch to be a good game, then it's not a good game.
And using Patreon to receive money without reading the community guidelines isn't very smart.

They said that the author argues with the moderators, proves his rightness. I hope tomorrow everything will be decided. Another sleepless night for me.
Why do you think so. that the author did not read the recommendations? He even earlier wrote about possible problems and wanted to have his own website.
What happened to the patch? Almost all games have a patch. Are they all bad?

Those patches are basically cosmetics. They don't improve games whatsoever, but can suit to one's personal preferences. Basically a different skin of some of the text so to speak. IMO unless it gives you some weird pleasure to read "mom" or "sister" instead of whatever replacement there is, they are barely worth downloading (unless you get annoyed by stupid replacements, which is unfortunately usually the case - but I blame the devs for that).

The page being closed tells me they didn't read the guidelines closely enough.
And no, not all are bad, this game is one of the better ones on the site. But if the sexual tension boils down to "I'm mom, you're son," then it's not a very good game.
I wish Patreon would change their stance or there was an alternative site but there isn't one as good as Patreon. But the only way Patreon will change is if it hits their bottom line. I'm not saying the incest patches hurt the gaming community. But complaining about Patreon and then releasing a patch isn't helping the situation with Patreon.
But I also ditched my game idea and made a non-incest game to be on Patreon, so I'm a hypocrite.

The page is closed because of candid photos, and not incest. And these rules have appeared recently. To love or not like incest-games is a question for each of us personally. Many people like incest games, I'm the same. The lines of Dylan and Ellie are the main highlight of the game.

More money is required, and the release of updates will accelerate. The author now receives 3500 per month.
8000 - OK, now I'll quit my job and cancel almost all my college courses so I can spend even more time developing the game!
Additionally, I'll give my hardware a "face-lift" to release quicker update-versions!
12000 - AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If this high goal is really achieved someday:
I'll interrupt my studies completely to devote all my time to my passion of (adult) game development!
Furthermore I'll get a second PC just for rendering, and also maybe hire someone to help me out!
We must support the game. 1-30 dollars is not so much money. You will get access to private data. I myself plan to do it in the near future.

I was talking more about games like Metroid,Zelda,Metal Gear,Fire Emblem,Persona etc.
But yo're right that the game so far don't have sex.
