First, I'm not pro-incest, I'm very anti-incest and had many an argument on this forum over incest in past, however, I don't see step relations as incest.

Second, you misunderstand what my point is and actually said the same thing I was saying, I said the side stories are dragging AWAM down and they are, something you agreed on and I'm pointing out that there is too many of them and now we have Deshawn and visits to a sauna and prison visits to add to what we already have.

I picked the casino story as personally think it should be scrapped, I wasn't saying there shouldn't be any side stories at all, although realize after reading back it could have been read that way.

I'm also pointing out the truth, most people like the lesbian side of AWAM or the side with Dylan/Sam/Zach/Aiden, everything else is gravy and too much gravy can ruin the meal. Updates should be as following:

1. Dylan or friends circle event
2. lesbian event
3. side story event

I don't have an issue with maybe one update featuring 2 lesbian events or 2 Dylan/friends events.

I'm pointing out we want to see things followed up more quickly, its been ages since the bikini show with Dylan/Sam and it most likely will be ages until the prison scene is followed up or the sauna scene is followed up.

There already a number of side stories with other characters and now we have sauna visits, prison visits, that's two more side stories with 2 new characters. That will slow down seeing the main content we all want to see, no matter what it is we all want to see, it going be delayed even more now and it's frustrating.

I realize in-game, this is only day 19 but L&P needs to remember that AWAM is taken years and people aren't going wait forever for the content they want.

I also realize that Sophia was certainly more frisky in this update and it should be with adults first, that was interesting to see but as I said, its time to pull the trigger and regularly provide the content people want to see.

Well, Dylan & Ellie are Sophia's flesh & blood offspring in the mainstream AWAM, so it will definitely be full-on incest, when it happens. I'm glad that you're like me in your view on incest generally. Yes, it's a taboo, wow, so is necrophilia, so what? Sometimes I play the Sam route, for variety but also because Sophia maintains her defined persona on this route. As for Aiden, I look forward to his tasks but unfortunately the panties flashing at the back of the class to him & Dre was, for me, the most unrealistic scene in the entire game so far. It could never have happened the way it did in any classroom in which I was ever a pupil. I wish it could be re-done in a different way, (I have ideas on this but I don't think it will be rewritten, so I keep them to myself).
As for Dylan, the nicest thing I can bring myself to say, is that I find a little of Dylan goes a long way. If the bikini show with Dylan & Sam had been balanced with something similar with a professional photographer at Liam's company, it would have been fair, probably great, but instead we were handed a solo snapper, again Dylan. You can see where this is going, so I'll not labour the point.
Anyway, at least we agree on the excessive storylines & characters & I'm hoping that because many other fans feel the same way that L&P will, one fine day, take note. I've said it before but I think the two old men should get better! I was a fan of the Bennett saga, to a degree, because he made things happen but now that the tension/suspense has gone, he should get a job in a different part of the country. He could be encouraged in this, if necessary, by being held by the ankles over the famous San Alejo gorge by two of Larry's soldiers standing on the bridge at 3.00am in the morning. This, however, leads back to Aiden. If his uncle is indeed Don Morello's lawyer then that's the end of the school blackmail but even if he's not it could still be the end if Sophia gets connected. It would be simpler to have Sophia & Ava mutually agree to part company regarding differences in their approach to sex education. Anyway, that's enough speculation. It's all up to the Dev now.

Post update insight: the amount of content per development time is, and I'm truly fond of this title, pathetically low. I won't deny the quality of the renders is high, but over the course of time it stopped being exceptionally high, as many new games present same or even higher quality. This makes L&P's only excuse invalid.
I am a grown-up and I know this is the deal: take it or leave it, yada yada. Sure. And I could agree this is the way things have to be, if it was not for those few devs who actually provide not only high quality, but also a reasonable quantity per development time.
Am I going to continue with this title? Absolutely. Am I gonna treat L&P seriously and pledge as much as I used to? Hell no.
Get yourself a team and become professional, for Sophia's sake!

Someone already gave a good explanation some pages back (i don't remember who right now) as to why a lot of people are highly unsatisfied with the current update. Paraphrasing that explanation: theres two major problems in my view. I'll be brief.

1) The dev promised quicker but smaller updates and gave a slow and smaller one. Of courser a lot o people were unsatisfied with this, but this isn't something to get to worked upon. If this kind of update repeats then it's undestandable to be pissed off (especifically patrons). But, well, it's possible to give the dev a break once it's very possible that this kind of updated won't repeat itself and we will be getting the quicker updates.

2) The prison event. That's a big problem. Because it goes against Sophia's base mentality and buildup until now. She didn't need to go that far or feel that much excited with the guy, she could only tease him like she does with Dylan and Sam. Not only this guy that she never saw in her life scored easily with her there's the fact that Sophia never got that far with any character who she knows and had a lot of sexual and non-sexual interactions already.
So why the hell would she go that far with this Morello dude? The simple fact that this blatant scene with Morello exists makes all the build up with other, more important characters until now seens meaningless. (This is outside the lesbian route btw)

If Sophia suddenly turned into an easy slut i can promise that a lot more people will be pissed off with the dev.
It seens to me that he is trying to appease a specific part of the fanbase that want more sexual action and are tired of the slow pace.The proof is that this updates has more sexual scenes than the others and it's such a small one too.

This path is dangerous and shouldn't be even considered an option this far into the game. I think the majority of his fanbase is satisfied enough with the slow pace and build up with less action. In my opinion, he should stick with it even with the smaller updates.

That is only your opinion, but others like it. If you have qualms with it, play another game.

I'm gonna put it bluntly, I read the synopsis. Downloaded the game, took the whole badwife route, tried to turn her into a dirty whore WITH A WALKTHROUGH and Sophia hasn't gotten laid at all.

The pacing of this VN is bullshit.

Morella stuff in this VN needs to be abandoned and removed altogether, the whole casino side of this makes no logical sense at all. There is no way Sophia leave her gambler husband at a casino in the first place and there is no way she would do what I see in the screenshot earlier in this thread either.

It just adds pointless content that really isn't needed.

Also, I have been proven correct on smaller updates causing more complaints, people don't want faster updates via smaller updates, they want the same sized updates faster. That decision never made any sense to me at all.

I enjoy AWAM and been a big defender of this but the wheels are starting to come off on this now, focus on Sophia's relationship with Dylan and his friend circle and Ellie and her friends circle. To hell with anything else, I suspect it all designed to corrupt Sophia into eventually having sex with someone not named Liam, but come on L&P pull the ripcord on all the unnecessary side stories, its dragging AWAM down.

• February update: Sophia relationship with Dylan or someone in his circle (Sam, Zach or Aiden)
• May Update: Sophia relationship with Ellie or someone in her circle (I actually forget her friend's names right now but lesbian side)
• August Update: Sophia relationship with Dylan or someone in his circle (Sam, Zach or Aiden)
• November Update: Sophia relationship with Ellie or someone in her circle (I actually forget her friend's names right now but lesbian side)

People want above content, they don't care for the side stories nonsense, it's just slowing everything down but I defended you a lot L&P, it's time to pull the trigger and give people what they want. People want to see a direct follow-up to what they seen in a previous update in next update, keeping people waiting for a year on things is just going harm you in the long run and eventually people like me who defend AWAM will stop defending you.

That is probably one of the most valid criticisms that I have seen about AWAM not counting "muh blue ballllz!!!!!111"

In order to bipass that mechanic you simple need to open the console and raise the filthy points 100 manually, and if you don't know how to do that then just go to a site like saveeditonline and add the needed points. A lot of players dont' know how to do that. To solve people from getting that problem at starting a new game L&P could put a "add 100 filthy" or "add 100 good wife" menu then option to Max all character points to 100 as well.

An even more complex coding could be done to the screens menu where you click that heart up top so that if you click filthy or good it raises same with the characters on it.

Most of the events in the code (not all) are points based.

L&P has made it clear that he will not build a team.

While I agree that this update was unsatisfactory, I don't agree about the renders. Say what you will about the prison scene with Larry, but I think we should all agree that the daydream renders were gorgeous.
