Yes, I know. I was wondering why L&P made this choice story-wise, to move away one character for which he already spent some time to develop a story.
Like, idk, she needs to be in a different class because what happens in the class may interfere with other events that happen in the classroom. For example, if there is a path Sophia/Emma, the Aiden's task might interfere with the development of that path, something like that. Or maybe after the shopping event with Sophia and Ellie he didn't want to further explore the path with Sophia and he chose to take her away from the class and give her a side story with Dylan alone.
emma is another option for Dylan (luck bastard sophie/ellie/emma/amber/Marie and maybe Claire and patricia :ROFLMAO:)maybe sophie is doing somethis with her behind dylan back:unsure:

Any patreon here mind asking the developer roughly which playable day will we get to get the first kiss(for the man) with Sophia, i understand each day of the game probably gonna take around 9 to 12 months to complete. We are currently at playable day 12.
I'd speculate another 6 playable days before real action begins...which is about 3 years XD XD XD

It's pretty funny when a game like the DIK, can have better writing, better renders, full animation and also release quicker than this game.

Almost as funny as the wait time between each update getting even slower when he allegedly "upgrades his PC" with the main intention of increasing update speed. Really makes you think, but hey, when he always has at leas one "super cool individual" who defends his every breath for free, why bother changing.

Within 2 days (!) L&P's attitude and "work ethic" has changed so drastically, that you've decided to lend him your helping hand.
That was fast and 0.130 hasn't come out yet. Be more consistent, your right hand have no idea what the left hand is doing, by the looks of it.

Sorry, but I simply can't take things you post here seriously. Be mad at me or don't; blame L&P, magnetic storms, yeti, whatever you'd like. Accepting responsibility is the first step on the way from immaturity to adulthood.

I always said I've supported L&P in the past.
I've also said I like that he showed up to defend himself and reply to posts without being all "I know better than you" like he did previously.
Saying he lacks a plan and has poor work ethic doesn't mean I dislike everything he does. I've always stated his renders are great.

But you guys are funny, this is your logic:

I criticize - "Look at this guy criticizing when he plays for free, you can criticize if you're a patron else shut up"
I show that I'm a patron - "Look at this guy, supporting a game he criticizes. Why do you support when you're so critical?"

L&P does like to stray outside of the box and stay away from the normal routes used in most of the incest/corruption games ie sleep sex/sleeping pills and so on and I do like this approach.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves, it's a classic "my son's bully is blackmailing me" story.
Actually the twist he had that it was all Dylan's idea could have been better but he succumbed to everyone's pressure to change it.

First of all we should state that it is our, the player, fantasies that Sophia should turn to. And I hope Google translates "attentive" wrong for me.
Let's hold on that we don't agree.
For me, corruption can only work successfully in the long term if the person to be corrupted can control the situation, at least partially. Everything else for me has to do with a breach of will, that is, forced sex, equating with rape. I just can't get past it. I just can't get past it.
I feel the same about incest but I get past it because this is fantasy fiction, nothing more. It's not an endorsement of any particular perversion. Playing AWAM doesn't make us sinners, or rather doesn't make us bigger sinners than we are already. That's how I see it anyway. "Decisions of Life" character cast-list has several 'friends' who were close blood-relatives in AWAM. When Sophia has sex with them in DoL I don't expect incest fans to be thrilled, because the crucial breaking of the taboo hasn't occurred. It will be sex with friends, nothing more. That may be nice in its' way but it's also tame, insignificant & a bit pointless. It deletes the whole essence of the incest routes that run through AWAM. It erases the thrill. Imagine playing a game for 10 years with the climax of having sex with a friend....wow? I don't think so.

When & if the blackmail turns from compulsion to willing participation, or initiative taking by Sophia, it will be the equivalent of recasting family members as friends. That's how big a deal it is. It will not be blackmail & AWAM will have lost any edge that it had from this storyline. If the route continues with Sophia experiencing the odd thrill from what she's being made to do, that will be different & it will definitely be corruption. There are possibilities for knock-on effects in other parts of the story. I have some slim hope that this might be the case.

This is escapism not an example of how we would wish to live our lives.

I agree that the twist should of stayed in but hey it is what it is.
I should of phrased the last part better and said that he has stayed away from a lot of the usual routes that are used in corruption/incest games,sleep sex/sleeping pills just to name a few.

Personally, it never occurs to me to tell him how and what he should do! Because in the opposite situation, I would send everyone to hell! I do not allow anyone to influence my decisions.
And thank god L&P doesn't have your personality.

This is terrible advice for anyone developing anything.

No one is forcing L&P to do anything, people are suggesting stuff to solve glaring issues (which in some cases even he has found to be true) and he actually has accepted some sugestions in the past as he will accept in the future.

Just from the top of my head, he has changed update frequency, render resolution, Sophia's textures when we complained she looked boney, Dylan's/Aiden's story when people complained about the plot twist, some posing issues with Liam in the casino so yeah, he takes suggestions.

Taking suggestions to your work as a personal attack is only revealing of lack of self esteem and confidence in your own work. I'm yet to see someone completely bashing him (except those trolls from time to time).

Most people here recognize and praise the very good things the VN has but they suggest stuff because it's clear as day that in the current way this is getting developed, it will not be finished if he intends to take the plot until the end, unless you think that he'll get this to 2030+.

In the last post the guy clearly said he doesn't have personal time and you think that he'll take this game development for another decade living like that?
He will need help, its obvious to anyone, even to him, it's a matter of finding or training the right person.

Also, is there any explanation for Emma dropping Sophia's class? Has it ever explained why (I mean story development-wise, beside her joining her friends) and if it is functional to the rest of the storyline? I'm curious... ;)
It's a simple explanation (L&P himself wrote it several years ago...). He did it so he wouldn't have to render 2 different scenes for "nerdy Emma" and for "cool Emma" every time there's a scene in Sophia's classroom.

if there were the team to develop the assets and block in the scenes and lighting and cameras, with L&P doing the final refinements of the setups all of my criticism (except the dialogue which is as much down to personal taste and translation as anything else) goes out the window and I’m a happy camper with thumbs up all the way.
I'm pretty sure it would have to be L&P doing the lighting but yeah, that would be the only way I see for him not to have to distribute his own assets (characters, morphs etc) and get ahead in development every time + time to himself.


Non-related to your post: not all plots need to end with MC gargling on someone else.
For instance the prison one could end just right there, she went there, did her job, debt erased, done. Same for janitor, postman, and every other non main plot. It can all be stuff that means she's taking steps in the "right" away.

I don't see any way that L&P opens his game up to a team- of all the suggestions that's the one he has been most vocally against. To make it work I think there would be too many moving pieces, he'd have to raise revenue to compensate for paying someone, he would need to train that person over the course of months, and he'd need to do that while continuing the normal workload before the new person was ready to go. There's probably a lot more that I'm not mentioning, but those three are big ones.

But all of that won't matter unless L&P gets a plan and sticks with it. A team that increases capacity is great, but under the current structure I'm afraid that it would only result in bigger updates- not faster updates. I can see L&P saying, "Before I could do 600 renders in 120 days, but now I can do 600 renders in 90 days. Why not push it to 800 renders in 120 days?"

Until L&P commits to a plan and accepts that compromises are necessary, game development will continue to drag.
