I'll agree. If Sophia and Patricia arrive at the bar together, and then go home together, that leaves very narrow window for anything to happen with Sam. If this event is actually a Patricia and Sophia event instead of Sam and Sophia, then ok maybe that makes more sense; but our understanding is that this event exists to advance the relationship with Sam. If Sophia leaves the bar with Patricia without some significant progress with Sam, it's going to feel like like the Sam storyline is spinning its wheels.
And Sam is certainly one of those characters that needs some advancement. Thankfully Nathalie is back in this forthcoming update yet it will unfortunately be a few Playable Days before we see Alyssa again, and she is one of the top 5-6 LI's.

Difficult, but I'll try. Imagine Sophia who has just allowed Sam to kiss her or touch her breasts. And now she goes to a couple who are planning their wedding. That should remind Sophia of her own marriage vows. And you will feel ashamed and guilty. And she will tell herself that she has to end the thing with Sam. We assume that Cathy and Andrey will make the Parkers a covert sexual offer (swinger or ...). And Sophia notes that Liam is ready to respond. Even more - Sophia sees Liam looking at Cathy. The idea of an open marriage is back and Sophia has the feeling that Liam would accept it. Perhaps Sophia is also a little pissed off when she notices that Liam is looking after another woman while her own wife was able to save his ass on the same day.
That's why I think the event is important. It takes the pressure off Sophia of having the feeling of betraying her husband. Without that evening, Sam would be starting from scratch the next day.
And I think that is important. Most of us don't like Liam because he is making it harder for Sophia to achieve sexual Nirvana with their preferred choice of LI for Sophia.

And whilst I may be critical of Liam, for not making enough free time to spend with any of Sophia or as a father to Ellie/Dylan, and also for being a greedy idiot with his casino betting, L&P presents Liam in a far more sympathetic way than most devs do with male spouse of a female protagonist. Most devs choose to either make the husband as an abusive arsehole, always away on work or just outright deceased. By starting with a happily married Sophia, L&P has nt chosen the easy route in making Sophia's subsequent sexual Olympics as realistic or plausible.

So even though the corruption of Sophia has accelerated across the last couple of updates, we have nt yet had the real tipping point, where Sophia can contemplate having sex with someone other than Liam, not as a fantasy / daydream but to actually think about doing it.

I forget what L&P said about Liam not cheating. But without the way you described above, I can't yet see Sophia actively think about sleeping with someone else. She still needs that final push.....

Are we sure the relationship advancement of Sam is with Sophia? Did L&P confirm this? Maybe Sam hits it off with one of the biker dudes in the men's room

Assuming Ellie might still make it, albeit late, I believe the event is more focused towards setting up Sam/Ellie, then anything particularly Sam/Sophia. Even down to Sophia and Patricia at the back table, and not the one up the front. If Sophia was going to make doe eyes at Sam, surely she'd be sitting up the front.

I feel sitting in the back is more related to being comfortable. Sitting in the front would make the ladies skeptical all the while that the guys might be eyeing them. And surely in such a situation guys will eye the two ladies. So sitting in the back will assure that no one is secretly looking at them. I just feel that's how a woman would think.

October was/is targeted by himself. However, looking at the progress. Last progress at 5% on August 31. Still, 55% of scenes were created. And the real event is still to come with "the other guy". I suspect more November or December.

This is a firebird. But the car seems a chevrolet Nova

Definitively a Chevrolet Nova
Not sure if it’s Sam’s car (I don’t think L&P would have made that mistake), but if it is then maybe we should suggest to Lust&Passion to make a little correction in the script.
At this point in the discussion I’d like to suggest that you take a step back and consider the image from the second teaser about the evening event of Sam's performance at the biker bar.
In particular I’d like you to consider what is supposed to be Sam's car (Pontiac Firebird 68):
firebird.jpg
I'll preface this by saying that I know next to nothing about these kinds of cars (I don't think I've even seen a muscle car up close), but doesn't it look disproportionately oversized?
It's parked next to a van and looks twice as long. Sam leaning on the back of the car can barely get his elbow up to trunk height and the wheels look bigger than the van.
I'm asking this question because while surfing the net looking for more information about this car (and its ) I found a request for help in one of the Daz3d forums where this problem is reported ( ).
retro-muscle-car-07-daz3d.jpg
Also making a comparison with some images in which the real 1968 Pontiac Firebird is shown:
AJ Firebird 1.jpg AJ Firebird 2.jpg AJ Firebird 3.jpg
it appears clearly how the model (Adrienne Janic) can easily sit on the car hood, while Sam (and like him all the other members of his band) would need a ladder to do so.
What do you guys think? Is it just my perception?
In case I'm not wrong I hope that, since we are still in the making of the next update, L&P can intervene to make more realistic the dimensions of what, especially in the next updates, could be the real turning point of the relationship between Sam and Sophia.

This topic came up also with the truck belonging to Ellie’s friend in a previous teaser - the Daz model is clearly based on the Ford 150 which is a pretty big truck, but next to (Christine?) it looks like a small car.

I think the scale issues we see here at the bar are twofold:
The van is way too small, perhaps as much as 25%.
American muscle cars from the 70’s were very large, I think the issue there is maybe more due to the “make me young” morph presets in Daz that (in my very limited experience, mind you) make characters a lot shorter than the base model. I clicked the “make me teen” preset on a male figure and they went from like 5’10” to like 5’4”, and the whole body shrank proportionally. If these kids are all in their later teens then most of them should near full-grown height, just less filled out in terms of body frame.

I thank you for sharing this conversation with L&P, but this was already made clear to me by the post on the daz3d forum I just mentioned. The problem that I think remains unresolved is that a car that in reality should be about 1.30 m tall ( ) looks much bigger in its 3d version (Sam and the other band members seem to be little taller than the car). So I wonder if it's possible to reduce its size to make it more realistic.

It is probably possible to reduce the size of cars and bring other proportions of objects and people in the game into line with reality, but this will definitely take a very long time, which is already not enough for the development of the game!

I would prefer to leave everything as it is, without delving into these problems.

OK, the van looks like a chevy astro minivan. Short but, tall. In fact too tall for most garages of the day hence low sales vice the Chrysler products when mini vans started. Two, Sam has oversized tires which probably requires a suspension lift so he does not shred them on the wheel well and damage the wheel well. This would jack the car up. However, I agree that Sam still looks puny next to it. He should at least have his ass level with the hood. It is not like he has monster truck wheels on. Please see the beautiful supercharged Nova below. Just Sayin'!

Patricia is more open mind than Sophia. When Patrica notice some romance intention of Sam vs Sophia. She will agree to let Sam take Sophia Home.

Patrica Always push Sophia to get more Sexual Free.
