"Well, I fianlly managed to convert my character to G8 and it looks pretty good. The eyelashes issue is gone. Only the genitalia is still there. But I think my helper in Blender will edit this matter. The eyelashes were a bigger problem." L&P
So, does he have a helper now? Or is he referring to a future helper?
Still it seems that it's for extra work (some stuff that he didn't do before) and it will not increase the current speed. We will see.

I don't think this was ever intended to increase the speed but more as way to find solutions to the certain limitations of Daz.
He is bothered by a few things even now in terms of the art. One thing is clothing which has already been discussed here.
The fact that he still wants to improve atleast shows that he is still interested in what he is doing.
Though personally I really wish he could increase the speed and just deliver the product at short intervals.
Helper is an interesting term. Is this a common reference to an employee/associate in Germany? I am of the thought he used this term to imply he has an associate. However it is not a fact. Is this really the guy teaching him the blender techniques? Will we see a credit added to the cover page?

I don’t think it’s out of line to claim he’s lost interest in his story.
( Part of the problem being he doesn’t have A story, he’s got several stories each with their own variants. Way too complicated for a first project, imho. )

The helper is the "special developer" he mentioned in his patreon posts.
If he is porting to Blender just for clothing, that doesn't make sense. He could just do that in marvelous designer, which is made for clothing, and export back to daz.
So the only thing that makes sense is he is exporting the models to blender, so the "special developer" aka "helper" can make animations for him. That would also explain why he got a 2nd PC, you don't need 2 PC's for clothing simulations.

If it's going to be animations for AWAM I'd be interested in hearing why people think they add to the story & what exactly it is they add that couldn't be envisaged in the imagination. I'm talking specifically about erotic & porn games, not fantasy or tech wars. Across F95 complaints about lack of animations, or those judged to be of poor quality are heard. Surely we have the "motion pictures" & "talkies" for that kind of entertainment & we've had moving pictures since the '80s, the 1880s that is.
Many animations consist of BJs, (or trying to swallow a log & nearly choking, as it's often portrayed) & the usual bump & grind. See one or two & you've seen them all. They're sometimes extremely clever but they're not in the same league as an actual film. What are they really for in a game which is more of a VN? Are they meant to be fap material? Aren't they just nice to have for those who like them but not exactly essential?
Before anybody comments on the lines of 'it's L&P's game & he does what he does OK?', let's just take the above as genuine questions & also take it as read that I know whose game it is. I am really wanting to hear thoughts on this & not necessarily in the "animations will be awesome," category but why someone might think they'd be awesome.

Alyssa was built from scratch whether it is a G-3 or G-8 is unknown.
Ellie is a G-3 model but this could of changed
Aiden/Dylan/Sam where G-3 but this could of changed
Sophia was a G-3 model but now is a G-8.
Converting the models from G-3 to G-8 brings it own problems concerning putting G-8 assets on a converted G-3 model as some of you will already know this doing Fan Art.

G8 models are more realistic, slightly better for expressions and posing.

Are you trolling now? Weren't you the one who really wanted to compare the non-existent animations with those in BeingADIK? As I said back then, animation is superfluous, and this is just for you now, L&P animation would look better!
To be honest, I don't think there will be a new release anytime soon. I believe that the next update will be the most delayed update so far! The reason for that is because he is trying something new and I am almost sure that he will fail of it.

I agree with your sentiment. Remember your supposition that many of his patrons are ... younger... ergo the animations become 'mandatory'. Just my thought. He is also 33/34 (Told me he was 33 last April) so definitely younger than you or me. This could easily be something he has wanted to do (he may see it as an artistic challenge) or to answer the requests he is getting from his paying audience.
