Reading some comments the past 2 pages is crazy.
Are people really pulling the burnout card now? Is this the point where even the most diehard fans realize how terribly slow this project has become? Are you really trying to tell yourself burnout is the reason for it now? Lmao
L&P is working on this for 5 years. 6 years in October I believe. Y'all act like he's been working on this for 30+ years, 12 hours a day.
Breaking News: This project's development is in a downward spiral for MORE than 3 years now, and it continues to slow down.
That said, you are basically implying he's been burned out since the 2nd year of development? The current year is no different than the previous ones. It's constantly getting slower. Been that way 3 years ago, and it's still that way in the current year. I'm guessing we've now finally reached a point where no other excuses from the usual suspects make sense anymore? Is this supposed to be the last straw to justify everything?
I feel like some of y'all need daily reminders on some of L&P's statements. Just very recently he's said that he "already has plans to speed up development within the next 1-2 years.". Dejavu much? Not like he's been saying the same crap for many years now, right?

I'd like to see the finish of this game, but at the same time I don't subscribe because I can't afford to, therefore the content is free to me. So it's the devs game and they can take as much time as they want and it's down to their subscribers whether they want to continue to subscribe or not.

Yes. PMed him several times and actually had some back and forth, but once started asking for him (nicely) to get help to speed up his project. That stopped.
He should of finished his bachelors and masters degrees by now, unless he is going the way John Belushi's Animal House college map.
Realism was always relative. If we wanted RL realism it might take an individual anything up to 10 years to step outside a relatively stable 20 year marriage & home life, as a result of slow burn corruption. Now AWAM is due to take over another 30 years, wait, what do you know, the Dev could have gone down this route after all. It could all have happened in real time.
I prefer to think of the original few years of AWAM as an erotic fiction with a veneer of realism. It was great. Your point about how fast Sophia has, in her reality, been corrupted has been noted on a number of occasions but that is if San Alejo time is being considered. L&P started off with a prudish, almost nun-like Sophia, which in the desire to show how far she would be corrupted, was far too exaggerated. If she'd been just like an ordinary person in her attitudes, that would have sufficed.
Nobody, (well almost nobody), doubts the quality of the renders. I used to think that when the Dev was on form the writing was also good. On his best days certainly.
Sadly, as far as the slow burn goes, it has changed conceptually & we now have several disparate stories under the same banner, akin to some bad '70s teen porn movie but in slow motion. Who will be first? Does anybody care that much anymore? So, with the realism gone & the logic on hold, the development down to the pace of a geriatric snail & the Dev so exhausted that he needs 2 weeks off after every single event. What's next for AWAM?

Btw somewhere in 2019 he was complaining that people are demanding him to get faster and he said that he is going to finish the game in 3-5 years from then… if this is still valid he is going to finish in 2 years from now (I know… just wishful thinking … I would be happy if he finishes it by 2029… yes, still wishful thinking…)

To finish within 5 years, he'd need to be completing a PD every .3 of a year, so every 4 months. Can anyone honestly claim he's even trying to be close to even looking at that, let alone achieving it?
We're lucky if we get a single Dylan update within 4 months, let alone an entire PD. And we have to endure the next four updates, entirely focused on Dylan.

Lil' did he know at that time, that his VN becomes one of the most popular ever. When random people literally throw cash at you, begging to continue, you don't reject such opportunity.
AWAM, simply put, has turned out too big to handle. Either some storylines needs to chopped off mercilessly, the focus on image quality could've been reduced, animations laid back till actual in-and-out scenes or the amount of renders for the event cut to 250 tops no matter what. He's like a dog, chasing down a driving vehicle. Can't restrain itself, has to go after it, just like that.
This guy wanna do most parts by himself. If it takes two decades, so what, folks gonna pay up in any case, they are hooked to the story. Sort of a downward/upward spiral depending on a point of view. Is it a scam, like others openly proclaim? Absolutely ... not. L&P doesn't really give a damn, especially about opinion of non-payers. Back in 2017-2018 he had to be more humble, interacting with potential customers, responding to unpleasant criticism. Once gaining his core paying audience he answers to them, which is totally fair. He who pays the piper calls the tune.
How dare you? What can be as awesome as banging your hot mom? Banging your friend's mommy! Sophia/Dylan; Dylan/Amber; Sophia/Sam; Sophia/Zack - that's a multifaceted dice with Sophia/Ellie and Sophia/Jules on the sides. It has mother and wife as an option in any case.
Side stories aren't the problem, their amount and dubious storytelling is. Shifting the focus on Dylan is logical, as he's been staying way behind in comparison to Ellie and Sam. Making him a semi-MC wasn't the brightest idea, though. Why treat him that differently, Ellie is almost as popular as Dylan in the polls, yet we've never seen events from her POV. Guess, the priority now is face-lifting first PD's. Hopefully, we'll see one day PD's turning into DP's, I'm counting that Dylan and Sammy-boy won't disappoint.

what was this last update about and way was it necessary they just got a hair cut I mean, they didn't need a new hair style, there were so many things to do instead, looks L&P is to lazy to think on what to do he is repeatedly doing the same thing over and over again, where is the creativity and the story should get hotter not colder like this last update, L&P I don't care about this f* delay of yours but please at give us something good, I can't put my money after a update I didn't like expecting the next update may get better, I wanna see a good thing then pay for it.
