Confusion is the normal state of play when it comes to AWAM & particularly concerning what the future might hold. There's another 3 or 4 years to go before the half way stage is reached. Maybe things will have been adjusted for Steam by then, maybe not. As far as I can tell the biggest issue regarding characters has to be the apostles. Shota is L&P's favourite kink, as far as we can tell, amongst his liking for big age differences between inter-acting cast members.

If he makes the shota boys 18, then it's not shota. Currently the apostles look to be in the 12-15 range & aging them up would not only be creepier, it would be very unrealistic from a number of different angles. Still that's the Dev's problem. Many games & stories issue a disclaimer with their promotional material, or blurb, stating that all characters are consenting adults, over 18 years of age. Viewing some of the personalities referred to strongly suggests otherwise. Sometimes complaints are made &/or action taken to re-adjust or write out. Terms & conditions aren't always strictly adhered to. (One character I remember was banned, even though he was & could have passed for 18).

L&P moves so exceedingly slowly that much may have changed by the time the "trailer" he once alluded to is ready for a launch on Steam.

All we need to do from a fan POV is carry on as before & treat any plans with a certain amount of justifiable scepticism.

It was because of Patron that he used the DOL version.

However, since Patron is a site that connects sponsors and Steam is a platform that sells games, there seems to be a difference in legal responsibility.

Patreon may claim "I didn't know" or "they used a circumvention", but Steam won't be able to do that.

I think the solution would be to remove the second side job entirely. Otherwise he would have to compromise to the point that the story wouldn't work.

The thing is I'm concerned about the devlopment. Since he'll have to rework on the contents he releases on Patreon ( underage characters) in order to Port the game on STEAM, Won't that make the Patreon release more slower?
To be clear, I just wanted to know that will he make changes to the Patreon version as well ( with underage boys) or will he keep it as it is. will he remove it from the Patreon version or age characters and since we all know all the younger character are highschoolers and shota will he make changes there like make them college students or something and and age the 2nd side job characters?

The reason why I am following AWAM is my personal story from high school… My literature teacher, a 28 year old mother of 2, was a very attractive and sweet spoken person. A smile and a couple of common interests, like theatre and international literature, were enough to make me fall in love with her. But, like Julia and Ava's children, it will be inevitable to modify characters whose faces look too young. to upload to the Steam.

The solution is for L&P to admit that Steam is a bridge too far and stick with improving the development speed of AWAM while farming DOL out to several junior creators he hires to help increase speed and quality of first DOL, then AWAM. He can even have one of them take over animations, just so he will finally stick to trying to get AWAM through PD 30 before we reach the year 2050 RL.

Greed for Steam money is NOT going to increase speed of development for AWAM.

He's using a bunch of logos and other things from namely brands and companies throughout the game without having the rights to do so. Let alone the incest and underage content. Steam won't allow a game on their platform that's using illegal assets. L&P didn't pay Armani or CocaCola to use their names and logos, for example. He'd have to remaster a shitton of scenes to remove all of the illegal stuff. Even if he did that with DoL, the version itself is a complete mess and nobody in their right mind would want to buy that on Steam.

And considering how long it takes L&P to release a single update with a couple hundred renders, we're prolly talking years to remake either version of the game to make it Steam friendly. So unless he's been working on a Steam version for years already, there is no way he's going to release anything on that platform anytime soon. And in the very unlikely case that he is going to release on Steam, I'd imagine it would be something like one PD at a time. Kinda like other VN's release their games in chapters on Steam. But if he's going to do that, he'd still have to rework everything and that can only mean a massive slow-down of the current development. Even less content per year as he'd have to work on both ends, and we're already looking at most likely more than 2 years for this single PD alone.

You're 100% right. At the moment a Steam release is looking impossible for LP. If he tries to rework the game it'll take him way too long for both DOL & awam. He should focus on his Patreon and complete the game as he said he doesn't wanna spend 10 years working on this game. maybe after completing the game he can make a suitable version for steam if he really wants to do it that badly. He will have a lot to answer after the Dylan/Christen/ellie event update. His Patreon subs won't be happy with any major changes in the game ( they're already upset with the speed). I simply don't expect LP to anger his Patreon subs anymore.
He should still hire a story writer to help him even if his steam plan fails. Honestly i think this L&P guy is retarded
