Most people just want regular updates and nothing else. Story progression is going to be great in some updates and trash in others. We can live with that, just give us regular updates. For how short his updates are, he needs to give an update every 1-1.5 months but he gives 3 updates a year which is abysmal to say the least. With regular updates, you'll get your gradual corruption and others will get to see Sophia getting fucked eventually in a little bit of time. What instead is happening is that his inconsistency ensures that 2nd group don't get nothing. With the kind of speed he is going, rest assured, Sophia is never gonna get it done atleast not in our lifetimes. So the frustration is just something natural.

You're correct in saying that realism, such as it was, has gone, so has the class, with the helium-expanded breasts referred to as "milk jugs" & many other 12 year old schoolboy names. Was that meant to be how Dylan thought of the woman he supposedly loves so much he doesn't care about his actions, or their consequences, as long as he fucks her, or was it just horrible writing in a style the Dev considers will be popular with young fans? Erotica it is not. Pre-pubescent porn, (a 'race' between Dylan & Sam, WTF?), is now the Dev's preferred way forward, albeit slower than before.
Has it caused a speed up, or is AWAM bogged down in what in reality is a sequel with no name change, or 'What Dylan Did Next?' AFAICT these developments must have improved the game for the obvious target audience but possibly not for many others & it's not 'faster.' If events like a son's HJ, complete with direction-finding sperm are to become the norm, because of 'porn logic' then AWAM is no more than a parody, or IMO a travesty, of what it was originally, (& still is), described as in the mission statement.
There must not be a market for a game about a beautiful, mature, accomplished career woman's corruption, delivered with realism & class. What other explanation makes any sense, unless the Dev has decided to deconstruct his own creation, because, "it's his game & he can do what he likes."
I read a blurb 5 years ago & believed it. There was no reason not to, at the time. I should have inwardly translated it into, 'this is the story of a son & brother, a virgin schoolboy but with latent super powers who overnight becomes a martial arts expert, a night club king & like many other 3D game boys has the desire to fuck all the women in his family. A few thoughts about AWAM
AWAM’s storyline spans over 37 game days. It is realistically impossible for a woman with Sophia’s background to get corrupted to the level LP intends to bring her. It requires months and for some types of corruption even years.
The m/s incest route has gone crazy and it has gone through a totally unrealistic path. A shy boy who doesn’t have a clue on how to approach a woman all of a sudden becomes a macho Don Juan… In order to make this story believable LP should have followed a different path. Initially Sophia becomes Dylan’s life coach. So their story line includes a lot of dialogue and not that many renders. Dylan gradually becomes a successful soccer player and with that success come the girls. He learns self defence and becomes more confident about himself. All this storyline is developed in the background, so no renders required, only a few storylines. Sophia notices her son’s development and becomes a proud mom! Dylan at the early stage of Sophia’s coaching confessed that he had a crush on her and from time to time shows his affection with a kiss, a romantic dinner or a compliment. Sophia sees her boy’s development and gradually falls in love with him… She knows he used to have a crush on her. She sees him growing and becoming confident and independent and she likes all of it. In this way you have a fully developed storyline without much of an effort…
The lack of sex scenes has made the followers of this game go crazy… Sophia remembering her first time was a nice insert. It could stay as part of Dylan’s coaching with a different narrative though… she could describe it to Dylan with less details and remember the moments with real time conversations. Furthermore, she doesn’t want to destroy her family so LP could focus more on ONS. A colleague for whom all the schoolgirls have a crush (Mr. Bennett) comes closer to her and as an expert Don Juan seduces her to an ONS. No repercussions since he goes to his next conquest and she fulfils her temporary need. Also her husband’s loss at the casino brings Sophia & Don Morello closer… none of the two is interested in a long term relationship and so they have one or more fucks… Since Don Morello is not part of Sophia’s life will soon be forgotten! Sam’s romantic feelings could build up a serious relationship. They could have had more than one interaction together and gradually come closer and closer… LP can keep Aidan’s blackmail and include a few escape routes which will conclude to sex with Sophia. They are all mutually exclusive to make them as realistic as possible. If none of the escape routes is chosen then you have the ultimate task which could be something sexually extreme. I’m not speaking about lesbian events because they have a fairly better development…
Event base development is a total disaster… Some stories could be developed in the background with very few renders and more narrative which reduces significantly the production time.
LP could consult people from f95 forums. I understand this is a pirate base but at the same time it serves as an advertisement platform for the game and many patrons have joined LP’s “Patreon army” because of this platform’s existence…
Finally LP could create an exclusive forum for all patrons of the top 2 tiers where he could share ideas about the game’s development.

Of course, the curruption is an important part of the game, but that doesn't mean that it has to happen in so many side stories. Especially the side jobs are completely unnecessary, and I also think if L&P would focus on one villain (and take Aiden out of the game), it wouldn't really be a problem. I think it's time for some here to accept that this game is about Sophia and her role as "A Wife and Mother". This is something worth focusing on in order to really be able to see this story completed.
Also, I think, who seriously thing that after so many years of development, a handjob is still too early, he really did not understand. At some point the action has to start and that AWAM has finally arrived in the mid game is something that I celebrate and hopefully continues.
