Right now, he has to create two different versions of the game, so he is doing double or triple the work right now.

Dylan becoming a 2nd MC fits into the story narrative that Sophia's goal at the start was for Dylan to find a GF. How the 2nd MC fits is if Dylan stays with Sophia, then Sophia is the MC as the relationship is building between them. Still, if Dylan is to stray from Sophia, you can't have Sophia as the MC because it wouldn't work, except Sophia would accomplish her goal for Dylan to find a GF. Dylan would need to be the MC for the POV to make it work with Ellie, Christine, Marie, Emma, etc...

If L&P didn't branch out the paths as he did and focus on Sophia only, then you wouldn't need a 2nd MC.

I said let’s tolerate the delay till Steam is out cause LP is working simultaneously in both projects. I don’t know if steam will be any better than the original version or will have the expected, from LP, success. I’m just saying that once he’s done with Steam there are no excuses for further delays. He should be able to deliver on a timely manner. If this doesn’t happen then it will never happen…

As for Dylan, I understand that Sophia’s goal is him finding a girlfriend. I don’t think this is a popular choice provided the popularity of his LIs. So if someone chooses not to follow the Dylan/Sophia route it means that they are not interested at all on Dylan’s path. They want to close his storyline and develop the other storylines (i.e. Sophia with other men or Sophia with women).

Same. It’s basically the only storyline that piques my interest, aside from maybe Zac and the museum dudes, but those are all so far off from any sort of payoff that I have to treat it the same way that I always approached the Berserk manga: essentially, forget that it exists for 6-12 months, and then check in again to see how far it’s progressed.

I’ve been gone from this thread for the better part of a year, and I checked back in, only to find that we’re still in the same PD that I left off on, and the only thing on the official roadmap for the foreseeable future for Sam is a short scene, the date with the museum dudes (which won’t amount to anything, aside from MAYBE Sophia kissing someone), and Zac’s not even on the horizon.

I’m not really complaining, because I’ve got plenty else to do with my time, but the plot thread creep is very real with this one.

Just realised that we're at the 50% mark of what might be a 600 render event. The last Ellie event only had 140 renders, and both Sophia and Ellie were naked at the 30% mark and the second teaser.

Taking as an example the Sophia/Dylan updates I would say that:
- 50% warm up
- 25% heating
- 25% explode

I expect 4-6 more teasers. There we will see where this update is going…
