Let's hope he doesn't get out of the game and puts on decent helpers to speed up the work.In that case, it is totally understandable. Then let's just wish, if he ever decides to quit the project, he shares the rest of the story with us at least, otherwise it would be really annoying

That's the point this game is never meant to be completed. Eventually it will lead into an abandoned tag. No Dev would like to work for 20 years on the same project. And personally I don't think many of us who are following the game since the beginning will be here after 7-8 years.People here who still believe L&P would outsource significant work of his project must have missed just about every comment L&P has made on the subject. The probability of this is close to zero.
BTW, Another update at the end of this year, perhaps again shortly before new year's eve, is not that unlikely. This would give him another 6 months for a 1/3 game day, which is apparently the new average development speed.
You have to think about it, L&P doesn't even manage to implement one game day per year. At this rate, it would take L&P decades for the last nearly 20 game days remaining to be completed. It would mean AWAM estimated completion sometime between 2041 and 2051.

We have to remember he has upgraded his equipment this year, so that should help speed up the updates going forward and if he were to out source some of the grunt work ,that would give him more time for story development and so forth!! Let's just hope l&p can loosen up on reigns and get some solid help. He can upgrade his computer all he wants but until he finds a balance between created Scenes/perfection it will not make any difference.
He is using two 3090 gpu's just now and they can render in minutes

It is the fate of perfectionists who have no idea about project planning.

On top of this I’m sure he doesn’t work as much as he says on the game. At least in terms of hours. 1 day for translating only 2-3 pages? Ha sure, it should take him 1 day to translate 10 pages, at the very least (this is, if he worked 8h/day, and he argues he work 10-11... he must think his followers are idiots).

I am not anywhere capable to make games. I am reading with interest the comments that accuse L&P of slow work. Can a developer explain the work required to make the game.
