I have theories about this.

Donate to my Patreon so that I can write my book that explores the seedy underbelly and fraudulent nature of the Patreon Economy. Gold Tier membership is $1,000/month and you'll get a three sentence paragraph teaser every month.
Don't forget about the people who donate over the top tier amount as there are people that will do that for some unknown reason. So you may have a couple that donates 1500 or 2000 or 3000. As part of the three-sentence paragraph teaser, they may get an Icstor digital signature/autograph from him.

Sophia was walking down the school corridor, when she saw something strange, she decided to hide around the corner. She saw Aiden and his friends. When Aiden unlocked the classroom door with a stolen key. , his classmates made sure it was safe and that no one was watching them. With everyone in class, Sophia comes in and asks what's going on here.

Of course, it may also be that Sophia is waiting for a signal from Aiden's colleagues that she is safe and can enter the classroom.

Under the blurred image, Sophia, Aiden's colleagues, may be hiding, signaling to Sophi that it is safe,

It's very easy to inflate your patron numbers by 10 cents per Patron so you can look like a fantastic dev.
I don't know if you look at his tier page. Most of them could be $1, but his $100 is sold out.

Even if they were all $1 patrons... (They are not) That would still be $5000+ Per month which is $60,000 per year. The last time money per patron was shown for Icstor it averaged at around $8 per patron. If those numbers remained constant then his current = $42,720 per month or $512,640 per year. For two years he has basically done jack shit. He released like 400 renders in 2 years. Lets say he made 500k per year over 2 years that is $1,000,000 for 400 renders. The guy made $2,500 per render over the last 2 years.

For context if a person makes $15 per hour (The suggested minimum wage) and they work 40 hours a week, and pay no taxes and work 52 weeks a year no vacations no sick time they would be making $31,200 per year. Which is about 1/16 makes per year.

Don't forget patreon's cut and taxes (which vary by country). Before all that you might be relatively accurate but after it, not so much. Either way, some of these devs are making some seriously good money doing what they are (depending on their lifestyle choices and financial decisions).

Yea, the poor guy is only making $1250 per render now since they took half in taxes and patreon fees...

Are you suggesting someone setup thousands of accounts that pay Patreon $0.10 per month to boost their patreon ranking?
Of.. course?
How is this news? They basically pay themselves then Patreon takes their cut, they keep around 90%.
Suddendly the creator looks much more legit and in demand.

This might come as a surprise but depending on country, that's pretty much the poverty line and in some cases below it. That'd basically come out to 15,000 per year. Even in most developed nations that's below the poverty line depending on how many people are in a household.

That is per render not per month... Per month was $42,720 pre taxes.

He's talking about "per render". Not "per month".
