I found out about AWAM in 2018 through a colleague. My wife and I (both gamers) loved the game. So that I was a Patreon from 2019 to 2022. Me and my wife are very open. No matter what the topics are, we accept each other's opinions. Since my wife plays video games for about 15 years and I even longer. I disagree. It is tiring and difficult to read English, because it's a language with no set rules. There are always exceptions. And I'm saying this as someone as a native English speaker.
When L&P was asking for a translator, I was tempted to offer my help, since I speak English as my first language. But then, I'm Aussie (or Strayan, as I like to use these days), so how I type things out is unique to our country. For one, we tend to use British English, so I might use favourite instead of favorite. And Country has an entirely different meaning to country. To particularly our Indigenous Australians, the two words are worlds apart.
So yeah. TLDR: English is a shit language, but you deal with the hand you're dealt.
It is necessary to introduce restrictions for home game creators. No big updates per quarter - no money. The maximum time to complete the game is exactly one year.
