I was wondering why someone like you hasn't popped up still....
1) Ignore the comment and move on
2) If you like the game...share your feedback about the update and move on.
3) You still haven't figured it out yet that there are people who will give their feedback no matter whether it's positive or negative...and negative feedback is not considered as crying so you need to grow up.
4) 2 Additional points, if the developer wants only his paid customer/loyal supporters to play his game then he could stop launching his game on free to all website. If you are his loyal supporter then you can suggest this point to the developer.
5) Other people don't need your valuable feedback on what to do as they are criticizing the game they played for free and they are not criticizing you. So you don't need to speak about them. If you have something to say for/against the game then go ahead. And stop commenting on people who have different opinions as yours.

I think the dev puts these questionable things in the game on purpose so people have something to shit talk about

As I said before, next year this game will get only one update, and most likely for this year we will get one more after this one. This episode just prove that the developer lost his passion to AWAM. The time he needed to do this is just funny, compare to what he have done before. The animations are ~3 sec each and they are mostly boring! So I dont know why is the hype so high every time before release...
