You would have to search to find an older version of Daz as daz studio page will always give you the latest version and
you would also have to backup your Daz studio library which can be huge and sort out your OBJ files.
I am still using 4.16 and have no intention of upgrading.
2nd week of October? So with the telegraphed Daz problems it will be closer to the 1st week of November.
