How do you envision Dylan bringing Ellie down to earth? We expect there's no more blackmail being introduced so it's most likely not to do with any sort of threat of exposing her (whether her activities with Julia, Logan or even Sophia). Doing something as outrageous as she did to him with the blue pill prank or somehow sabotaging her school, dance, cheerleading, or her pursuit of either Julia or Logan (or even Sophia)? Well it makes sense that he would slow down. As he moves into the Sam event it's going to require entirely new locations and art. The Natalie event had the advantage of using preexisting locations and art, so it could be done "quickly". Nothing else matters in terms of this update's development speed until we know more about the Sam event. That event absolutely has the potential to drag this update out until 2022.
Catch Ellie and Christine with some sex toys and that's enough. At least the "perv brother" part goes away.
