There’s a number of characters that could be “fused” in my opinion:
Alyssa/Amber
Sam/Zac
Vicky /Nathalie
Janitor/bennet
Oldmen/mail man
Subway thugs/homeless drunks
Carl/mr morello.
Etc, etc...

For example, what’s the point of Amber in the story? She’s not a love/sex interest for Sophia.
She’s just there for a side-storyline for Dylan when he comes back from boarding school every weekend (every 5 years in real life, at least...).

What is Zac, if not a subdued version of Sam?
Even their two last events were similar:
-Massaging Sophia shoulders
-A “what if” scenario
-Sophia in teasing mode

We even have a similar situation with Neil and Alyssa previous boyfriend of being 2 abusive people.

We could have the same situation that happens in the Neil event, but instead of nothing resulting of it (literally), here Amber/Alyssa would be in the event, witnessing what Neil did to Sophia. This would be the end of Neill as he would be kicked out of the house, ending in the same way where we’re at in the game right now:
-Neil was a one and only event and has been absent since then even narratively/plot wise speaking.
-Alyssa boyfriend was mostly a Neil that has been removed before the storyline.

Carl/don morello are basically rich guys that serves as plot devices that will help Sophia to get out of problematic situations.

The only interesting part of the janitor character was that he is a father that hasn’t seen is kids for four years and that Sophia empathized with him in that moment.
Instead of having 2 side characters, why not adding this background to Bennet, adding more depth to this character.


As you said we don’t need to explore the same theme/trope with slightly different characters.
In the same way that we don’t need 35 or I don’t know how many characters, to explore 35 themes/trope.

Not every character needs to be super profound with a deep backstory.
For example, I don’t need more background for Aiden than what has been given in the game to understand is attitude in life (basically feeling intouchable).

But some of the side-characters (and main ones) would benefit from being more fleshed out instead of being just kink/cliche/trope seen in every other corruption game and being transposed to the “realistic world” of awam.

Umm.... Who is Sam and Julia's mom if not Amber. It is logical for Sam to have a mother and it ahs to be some character.

Zac was link that brought the two Alyssa and Sophia together. Zac and Dylan's friendship is what caused the two women to meet again and become friends as Sophia handled Aiden attacking Dylan and Zac.

Dragging Alyssa's previous boyfriend into this is bizarre. Like the guy has no role to play at all in the story, certainly we will never see him and you are comparing him to an existing character in the story, Neil I believe initially had more content but since he wasn't liked much his content pretty much got cancelled.

And for all these characters like morello, Janitor, mailman we have no idea on what the purpose is so just assuming their purpose and saying they are not needed is presumptuous. L&P has a story to tell,let him tell it and then pass judgements. Zac and Alyssa down the line are going to become important and similiarly other characters will have a role. Carl in my opinion is definitely going to get heavily involved towards the later half of this story, once Patricia and Sophia get a lot closer.

I remember another dev saying that the community is at least in part, how you shape them to be. Fans of adult games generally just want the dev to be successful so we can all enjoy steady stream of fapping materials.

A lot of unanswered concerns in this community is what's causing this toxicity IMO. People like this game. That's why they cannot ignore this thread. But there's a worry that this game likely never will reach it's full potential. Arguing over the technicalities of DAZ is not addressing the issue at hand.

DPC has launched 1 actual game and like more than half of the second while L&P has done what? 20% of his?
Comparing them is offensive to DPC. DPC is smart enough to realize going overboard on renders only a fraction of his members will care about is diminishing returns so he launches huge chapters at a nice pace while L&P is still picking which colored pigeon he's going to choose.

One fine morning after reading some of the comments in here and becoming frustrated with the pace of the game I decided to head on to L&P patreon page to check the progress out.
Of course the progress of the game was slow I saw a post with a car and a couple of comments under it talking about how the car was not of the right scale and how it doesn't look right in that post, while it looked perfectly fine to me and I couldn't find anything wrong with it. Those comments frustrated me more because those fuckwits (pardon my french) wanted him to make certain changes to the car and that's when I realised that I will die and shit my pants (as is the case according to South park) before this fucking game ends, so what I'm trying to say is, his patreons should carry an equal blame on the delay of this game. If his patreons want such quality of art in the game then who are we to argue?

The duration of the event is not the point. The point is the themes were used over multiple scenarios. But since you brought up time, as a topic of the scenes, we have the one-and-done issue. If the scenes are that short, then why have it at all? Corruption Points? As I said, you can tell the story with a hand full of people, ex. 20. You don't need 79+ people to tell a good story, and if a majority of them will have a 1, 2, or 3 scenes for corruption points, then bounce out, IMO, that is a waste of time and resources.

I would keep the mailman in mind. Considering that L&P said the first male scene was to be with someone unexpected, and since the mailman is just delivering the mail each day, I guess he would be up there on the list.

In the 16th playable day the hetero scene will be with Logan or with Logan and friends. There are a lot of reasons: it will be an hetero, long, hard and wild scene. I don't see the postman as wild. The only character that is known as wild in sex is Logan. Sophia making it with her daughter's boy will be a highlight. No body expect it. Logan is in the film in the plane. Logan is always in the polls. Sophia has talked a lot about him and his dong with Ellie and she has been thinking about him. On monday Logan and his friends will come back and it will be the day with more Ellie scenes.

I think DPC uses a lot: Maya/3dsMax/Blender and knows how to work well with it.

I feel like you're trying really hard to find the worst renders possible just to shit on BaDIK for whatever reason. I don't get why we're still render-shaming anyway, but when you said that you'd give BaDIK a shot, I didn't expect that all you care about was render quality when there's so much more to an actual good game.

Alot of L&P's renders might be more polished in recent updates, but what about the amount of content, gameplay and stuff like minigames, freeroam, a money system, an actual cellphone with many functions such as the game's very own versions of instagram and tinder, the Chick/DIK meter which leads to a bunch of different scenes and story outcomes. The top notch writing combined with a fantastic story that's extremely immersive (to me anyway), hundreds of fluid and really well done animations, a bunch of different soundtracks. The amount of pure content per update compared to L&P's laughable 1/3rd of a playable day with 20mins of gameplay. And let's not even talk about the way these two developers interact with their community, because we all know who'd look pretty pathetic there.

Do you think slightly better render quality alone makes up for all of that? I really do enjoy both games alot, but don't get it mistaken. BaDIK has way more going for it at the moment if you ask me.

Well the point of what Nexer did is to show that L&P is not making up stories when he says he gives a lot of time to his renders and that there goes a lot of work and time to make renders. The renders Nexer chose for L&P too weren't his best, they are in between renders which aren't crucial to the scene.

Atleast I for one never say that BaDik is a bad game. I haven't played it yet but I am aware of a lot of it's features and definitely there has to be a reason why he has 13000 patrons and none of the others do. But when people compare render counts then the quality associated with them should also be properly considered

Nah man, I gone through all of ep7 and with the exception of the characters, the environment is very poor.
Look at this. It's a wall. He never bothered to separate the doors. If L&P did something like this .....

Sure, I won't argue that L&P takes more time on his renders, but I still don't think that this equals the amount of additional features and content per update we get from DPC in comparison. Anyway, these comparisons, be it renders or developers is just asking for more drama I guess, so I'll just leave it at that. We already got enough drama on a daily basis even without that. lol

I played BaDIK and it was fun. The developer relies on the motto for rendering - only as much as necessary for each individual image. That means there are really good quality renders and which a beginner can manage, namely in the places in the game where in the opinion of the developer it doesn't really matter. If you compare the pictures of both games you can find big differences or comparable things . (The pictures from L&P are of consistently high quality, that may or may not be considered superfluous. Personally, I like it a lot.) Both games tell a story that could be described as exciting / interesting. I like the story of AWAM more but that's just a personal preference. BaDIK has animation that is really well done, we don't know if AWAM ever has any. I don't think animations are that important if they're just pure moving images. Only in the game AMNESIA have I seen an integration of animation into the course of the game that was super hot and therefore made sense to me. The developers at BaDIK work as a team, L&P still wants to develop towards that point, but has difficulties with it (reasons: I don't want to speculate.). The last update from BeDIK was 2021-04-25. The last update from AWAM was 2021-06-15. Although in the comparison I made it now looks like I would prefer AWAM, I think that both games are on par and that only my personal preferences mean that I prefer AWAM.

I actually like the idea of having limited sexual partners. For me at least it is the teasing and sexual tension that makes me excited. However once the sex act is done it becomes really boring. Same happened to MC's mom in Big brother, once the act was done she became a very boring character to me.
