I totally agree. I've always questioned the fulfillment of any Patreon goal L&P has. And we can see why by looking at every single one of them.
When he had around 1000 Patreon subs, he meet that goal many times. And I say that, because of the monthly reset, but it always went back up.
If you ask the public to support your project, you will not only receive money, but also comments. This has always been the case and it should not be any issue. Of course, this also means comments on the quality and quantity of the results arising from the project.
Yeah, instead of new goals that would benefit the game and it's development, he's simply increasing the requirements to meet his final goal again and again. He could create a goal to help pay for licensed music, expensive assets(if that's even a thing) or whatever, but no. The way he does it is really just fishing for more Patreons, because when people see the final goal, they'll most likely be like; "Oh dang! Let's help him reach that final goal so we get faster updates!". Atleast that's what I'd be thinking anyway.
I take everything he says with a grain of salt,at this point I shouldn't be surprised if I get some kidney stones.

That to me is the problem of AWAM compared to other games / VN. There is not one good-looking well-written adult male that, if Sophia left Liam, would be an ideal long term LI / future mate. I was briefly hopeful of Don Morello but we have been told in game that he is happily married and gather from L&P that he is not doing the seemingly obvious "Indecent Proposal" route. Maybe that might change in the future....

I know you didn't ask me, but let me jump in because I'm bored. I would say that the game's inconsistencies are with Sophia's corruption progression. Namely the problem is with the second side job which just screws everything up since it's such an extreme event for a woman who hasn't shown behavior like that anywhere else. Within the writing itself there are some inconsistencies in grammar and syntax that a proofreader could help with. These inconsistencies can be minor, but in my opinion they begin to add up and make a product look sloppy. But, in worst case scenario, they can confuse the audience if the message of the text is not being properly conveyed. Things like humor or tension can live or die by the choice of a single word, and the use of the wrong word can strip a scene of its intended meaning.
I hope that there's more to the Don Morello story than it appears because he's an interesting character. This would be one of those times when L&P should use a porn trope because it would make the game more interesting. If L&P only introduced Morello for one purpose and he goes away, that would be a terrible waste.
We will have to probably wait 1-2 game days to find out about Morello but personally I don't see what else Morello can do for Sophia but as usual L&P is very tight lipped.
Nothing is preventing you from making those games too.
