Im going to try to explain why this new update is really bad.

First off, this game has a good enough foundation. The story is ok. This whole spy on your wifes phone is also a cool idea and well implemented.
I also have to compliment the Dev for a great update schedule.

The problem are the characters. Mainly the MC, but the Wife is also an idiot. But i will focus on the MC.

Before this update, the MC was portrayed as controlling and jealous but competent and active (in his decision making).
He told his wife that he did not like her job,
he found a job quickly,
after he found out about the drugs, he went to his wife immediately and warned her. (stupid not to go to the police but i let it slide)
All of these actions show that the MC is not beeing portrayed as a pushover or an idiot.
But in the new update his whole character is beeing thrown out of the window. He doesnt do anything after founding out his wife is cheating.

Even with the excuse "this is just a porn game, logic shouldnt matter" (which is dumb, this is supposed to be a story after all) it makes no sense.
Whats the porn genre here? Its not cuckholding, because the MC is not enjoying it. Its not sharing, because the wife doesnt know he knows, but its also not cheating, because the MC actively knows whats up and just doesnt do anything.
To what kind of kink is this supposed to appeal?

The MC in the new update is an empty puppet with no agenda or will. As a player there is no point in playing the MC. Because we know he doesnt do shit. So why not just skip everything and just watch the porn. But by that point, why play the game? Might aswell go on the Hub or whatever.

This could have worked from a female POV. There is no need in giving the Husband a detailed character. But here? It actively destroys the game.

His inaction even destroys previous story plots. The drug thing is no longer relevant really. Which shows that the only purpose of the drug was to justify the wifes cheating.

I am really sorry that i am beeing so harsh. Im sure the Dev put in a lot of work, which you can see on the size and regularity of the updates.
But...yeah... the characters are a disaster and you cant justify it. Only with a "i dont care about anything but the porn" attitude.

This "game" needs to have more choices. So far, the only choices we have as MC is whether to flirt with (or sleep with) other women. We didn't even get to choose whether we block email senders or texts, or even whether we snoop on her phone, nevermind confront the wife about the pictures or. confront Chris. This makes the MC seem very distant and disconnected, which is normally the opposite of what the NTR genre does. The MC is supposed to be jealous, humiliated, outrages, but in this game he is just meh, completely passive and unengaged.

i agree with you in many points. but i have to say all those i spy on my wife games can only lead in two directions. the husband leaves her or he starts to like it a wifes phone is the best exsample for that. i think this spyapp theme was nice when it was used first. but as time went by i think it supress storytelling. i think this "in the meantime" wife pov what the dev from in their own hands does works so much better. oh and for the charchters in the game i have to say not only is the mc an idiot and got thrown out of window. all those guys in the game are just a bunch of asshole abusers. why not write characters that use charm instead of drugs or blackmail. i mean the wife is not satisfied in bed. if they seduce her with charm and she enjoys it because of the good sex is so much better than "hey sleep with me or i fire your husband." or "im an asshole but i have a big dick. im an alphamale. the only thing is i need to drug all those girls that they consider having sex with me." its soooooo bad.

Hello everyone,

The new update is out, and some of you have already checked it out. I suppose some of you might not like it due to the main plot advancing too quickly, BUT… there is a reason for that. You’ll find out why this is happening when you play the next update. We’re already working on it.

So, why did the MC’s wife cheat on him by giving Samuil a blowjob? Why is she acting strange and submissive at work? Why is she doing what the migrants want her to do? How did it all start? The next update will answer these questions.

The MC will gain access to the chat history and find out why his wife’s behavior changed so much. He’ll find a way to save her from being harassed by the migrants. But how long until it happens again? Can the MC’s wife go back to her former self, or have the recent events affected her mind? Will her corruption continue?

We’ll find out very soon, friends.

p.s. Actually, we planned to release all this content in the latest update, but we were a bit short on time and had to split this part of the plot into two updates. That’s why the events of the current update might seem rushed and illogical. Perhaps we should’ve postponed the release and finished working on the content, but what’s done is done.

This game actually has a rather interesting third option, because the men in this game are all evil fckers.

The MC could have blackmailed the boss with the fact that he blackmailed the wife. The refugees are giving more than enough material to deport them. All the while the MC builds a relationship with the secretary.

That could have been an interesting take on the NTR genre, which, in my opinion, is very lacking in NTR games.

But i do agree in the general sense, the chars are rather dumb and single-minded.

I really enjoyed the start of this game, but I think the decision to make the MC just be an object to be acted upon was a bad choice. HE doesn't do anything. Things happen around him, and to him as he allows these things no other human would allow. He gets harassed random numbers, his wife's friend, some rando chick, the guy that is seducing his wife and he just takes it all without fighting back or talking to her about it. I get the point of it is that he's slowly being broken down and corrupted at the same time that his wife is, but the dialogue shows that he knows its happening and he doesn't WANT it to happen, but he then talks himself out of taking any action. THAT is what throws me off. His mental commentary where he acknowledges that he needs to leave his wife because she's a cheating whore, stating that there's no coming back from this shows the self awareness of a normal human. Then the next sentence he's excusing it all because "...but I love her". Cucks enjoy watching their wives with others. This guy has shown no interest in it at all. In fact, now when Samuil hits him up he's given up on his relationship but refuses to leave. "what now?" "You already have my wife...".
He's not making any moves. He's not taking any action. He just sits there as shit happens so idk how as a reader, I'm supposed to empathize with the MC in order to understand the NTR here. This is just cheating, not NTR. They are different.
